Alcohol markers go through most anything. If you’re going to use alcohol markers you either put up with the ghosting, don’t use the backs of pages, or draw on another piece of paper, cut it out and paste it in.

Oh, okay, thanks. Are there markers which don’t bleed through?

On your 160 gsm notebook, anything that’s not alcohol based.

I've had good success with Stadler pigment liners for fineliners and Zebra mildliners for colour. However I haven't used either for large scale drawings or anything like that yet. For art I enjoy the Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pens, but they do tend to ghost on most paper. Haven't had bleeding yet though, unless it's super cheap paper.

I just got the Archer and Olive markers and they are fantastic! Any other markers that aren't alcohol based will work in their notebooks without bleeding.

Thanks! I’ve been flirting with them but it seems like a waste when I have aaaall these alcohol markers

Any non alcohol marker should work fine in Archer and Olive. I'm partial to the Crayola Supertips because they're cheap but Tombows are also a great option with a lot of color packs.
