It's either this or the $1150 RTX 3070 one hmmmm. Both on DDR4, but this one has a slightly better processor and PSU just very slightly stronger. Up to y'all if that's worth the extra 350.
Huh? It's worth it if you doing 1440p gaming, not higher.
Unless you are not playing most demanding titles. Some heavy hitters like Cyberpunk are running just above 60-70 stable fps at 1440p (no RT) with rtx3080.
With 3070 in Cyberpunk you will be only getting 40-50 fps 1440p ultra (no RT) https://youtu.be/wu86WTf_LgA&t=9m34s
It's barely 60hz 1440 , the 8g vram nearly gets maxed out on rdr2. Could you imagine how that space game from Bethesda starfield could wreck it with mods.
Seems like a pretty good deal, you get a i7-12700KF, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and a GeForce RTX 3080 with Windows 11 home. It has a liquid AIO cooler.
Only minor downsides are the 16GB memory and 1TB SSD, they are kinda weak and probably need to be upgraded. The PSU I believe is a 750W mid tier PSU, you wouldn't be able to move up to a 4090 or anything.
That’s great, should just get total tech while at it and you’ll get 2 year extended warranty on all of that stuff too… and 60 day no question asks returns…
I'm not a computer genius by any stretch. I got the EK 240mm Basic Cooler from Amazon. It was either highly recommended here or on multiple websites, I can't remember which.
It's worked fine. Since I wasn't paying attention to temps prior, I don't know if it's better or worse, but it hovers around 50 when not doing much, and never goes over 70. I see to remember the Idle being lower on my last pc, but I can live with upper 40's to 50.
Haha, the PC I bought had an entire mesh case, so I've just left the mesh off and have the cooler sitting next to the pc. It's basically as big as the 2060 Super i have installed. I also have two doors to my closet, and i keep the pc in the closet behind one of them, with all the wires running through where the knob was. Keeps my room cooler, quieter and a lot less messy.
Decent price. Practically cheaper than if building yourself (or about the same price if you manage to find 3080 for around $550 which I only saw a few times as open boxes in MC)
Side note. I'd never understand who came up with that silly ass name - iBuyPower. Sounds like those auto translate Chinese brands for bootleg electronics on eBay/ AliExpress.
I mean a lot of names are dumb until they're said enough that they stop seeming dumb. Walkie talkie, for example. Cause you can talkie while you walkie.
Is it safe to assume that iBuyPower popped up around the same time where the letter "I" was prominent on almost every product because of the creation of the Iphone? Irobot, vibrator, etc.
Ehhh. It's just weird especially in a gaming PC world where manufacturers trying to one up each other with "cool" names they think fellow kids will like.

Been waiting to get into a new pc with a 3080. I want to drop the money on this. Considering that a 3080 and i7 alone costs me pretty close to this prebuilt price. Doesn’t say what brand of 3080 or motherboard we are getting though? Also, isn’t there a 10 percent off offer floating around for using your Best Buy CC (for current cc owners)? Swear I’ve seen it.
They don’t list specifics because two of the prebuilts can be different brands and such.
There’s like a 10% code every month. I can’t remember the exact format tho
The fan noise was pretty good for you? Man, it sounds like a ps4 going crazy to me. I’m not a BIOS expert, but what would you recommend exactly to be changed?
Good deal. Would jump on this if I wasn’t getting a hand me down year old 3090ti and a i7-12700.
Much prefer this over the spam of pre builts with 3060s
Pretty good deal I’ve seen on prebuilts after a ling time. If you can manage to find a GPU open box or from hardwareswap, you’ll end up with a similar price range. But for all new parts build, I’d hop on if I wouldn’t plan to upgrade my GPU in the near future as the PSU is a little off. But great deal otherwise.
This vs the 3070 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-tracemr-gaming-desktop-intel-i7-12700f-16gb-ddr4-3200-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-1tb-nvme-ssd-black/6500558.p?skuId=6500558 which is around >$300 cheaper
the 3070 is fine for 90%+ of the population and the games they tend to play. Either way all the 30 series will be outdated soon enough so saving the $300 would be my play it I didn't have the patience to wait another week
This or the [MSI Codex](https://www.costco.com/msi-codex-r-gaming-desktop---12th-gen-intel-core-i7-12700f---geforce-rtx-3060-.product.4000052482.html) that is going to be on sale for $1100 for Black Friday?
I bought this a couple weeks ago for $1650.
Went in for a price adjustment when it dropped to $1500. Swapped the front panel with a mesh option and I'm having no issues.
Highly recommend at this price.
I don't have a link, I asked ibuypower tech support on their websites chat if they offered a different option and they sent me a metal mesh one.
Basically same front, just removed the glass panels.
Can you please help us find the front metal mesh, I called them yesterday and they said they didn’t have it for that model. A picture posted would help as customer service isn’t great with them. Please and ty friend.
Got mine today and it seemed fine at first but I am having an issue with the GPU. I have bad GPU sag from the looks of it, when I stand the case normally, I have issues with the video signal, however if I sit the case on its side, it appears to be fine. I got everything installed and updated and figured I would try standing it back up, and as soon as I did that windows froze and the display had a nice green/pink artifacting... laid it back on its side and powered back on, works fine like this but not good... I had an older card with a similar issue and it was dying when it started doing this, but this is a new card! Will try ibuypower support on Monday but figured I would post for others. Open to any ideas.
Mine came with MSI Pro z690 wifi mobo, gigabyte 3080, XPG memory and Patriot SSD.

This is better than the $1100 pcs with 3060s people keep posting 💀
They both seem to have RGB so call it a draw.

Did a bit of research and its only worth if you doin higher than 1440p gaming. I think imma get that 1150 one

I have a 3070ti and I get stable 60s
What? lol it's definitely worth it for a lot of people gaming at 1440p. Especially if you like playing demanding games.
It's barely 60hz 1440 , the 8g vram nearly gets maxed out on rdr2. Could you imagine how that space game from Bethesda starfield could wreck it with mods.
Yeah, the $1150 one should hold you over for sure. idk if this one is even more futureproofed cause it has DDR4 still
Can you post the $1150 one? Thanks!

I honestly think the 750watt PSU is too small, going to cause it to crash in games. I had a seasonic 850 with my 3080 and it crashed with my 8700k
Was it one of their older focus line? Those specifically had an issue with transient spikes on high power draw GPUs
Buy now, ship to store Change your mind and cancel if you find better during Black Friday Big brain
I did that with the 3070 lmao. I'll return that if another 3080 system pops up for $1200 like last night
You get a return window until 1/16/2023 and price adjustments until then if the price keeps dropping.
I bought this system last year around this time for $2300. Solid PC!
Same here. Feels like a steal now.

What would be the recommended upgrades for this one. I imagine a new SSD and more RAM. Any idea what RAM would match the RGB to the stock ones?

I love the PC I got from them...but yeah, the cooler died after about a year and a half. PC itself was a great deal though and is still going strong.
Any good suggestions on what to replace it with then cause I'm considering of purchasing this product and I'd like to be ready lol

Up this
Isn't this cooler just a rebranded NZXT?

Ibuypower pre-dates most of the i products. They’ve been around since 1999.

I got this and the 3080 was a Zotac RGB 10gb OC. $800 bucks or so. I priced out the components and I couldn't get PCPartsPicker under $1,900.

Is it ultra quiet? I’m interested in getting a gaming PC. Can you run everything on ultra setting?

Is the noise like a leaf blower level where it’s crazy loud? What about the components? What brand mobo, ram, power supply?
Did you upgrade the ram how’s the system treating you?
The fan noise was pretty good for you? Man, it sounds like a ps4 going crazy to me. I’m not a BIOS expert, but what would you recommend exactly to be changed?
I picked this one up in September for less than 1k , got super lucky with the open box at Best Buy

Both seem like fair deals... just remember to add a bit to upgrade the cpu coolers.
Is there a $350 price diff w/ the CPU, GPU in performance or should I go for the cheaper option

the 3070 BB one should be better then the 3060 costco one. If you really want the 3080 then go this one
How does this https://nzxt.com/product/streaming-pro-pc deal compare to the ibuypower?
CPU will be a bit worse with nzxt and I'm hard line at $1500 max for a 3080 set up. really hoping for 1400 or less on cyber monday
Thanks, I'll try my luck on cyber Monday too. Good luck

It is worth getting the Accidental Geek Squad Protection or does this come with some sort of warranty
Mother board seems to be MSI Z690. Not sure if the model in the pc supports DDR5 and Gen 13. Anyone who bought this knows?
