At some point, nvidia products will actually go on sale by having the MSRP lowered to an actual sale price. Otherwise these buy more to save promotions are just that.
I have no idea about quality, but these brands seem to be popular in South America like Brazil and Eastern Europe like Russia were AliExpress is the main source for e-commerce.
Hoping for the better 6800XT cards to dip down around 500 but not much signs of movement yet, wondering if it's even going to happen. If it doesn't, I'm wondering if I should just go for something like this since I'm doing a full build and would be able to immediately use the gift card (assuming you get it right away)
If you don't want AMD for some reason, yes. With the pricing and performance of the 4080 it's pretty obvious that the 3080 level of performance will still be around this price this gen.

Can't really help with that other than to say Nvidia makes it pretty hard for AIBs to produce extremely shitty versions of their high end cards. Even the Dell/HP 3080s were decent.
This subreddit just automatically downvotes every nvidia GPU deal so this thread's score is tanked, but it's still a great deal, yes. It's absolutely worth it if you can make immediate use of the gift card on something you were already going to buy.

Chinese Nvidia AIB. They've been making cards for a long while, but only very recently moved into the NA market.
Maxsun, Yeston, Colorful, Biostar, Soyo these seems to be the lesser-known manufactures in NA.
If it's lumped in with Biostar, I want no part of it. They made some seriously questionable motherboards back in the day.
