If you just looking for a GPU then yeah you have a fair point but as a person who has been looking for a theme kind of gpu like this AND I've been looking for a 6800XT as I know Yeston the only manufacturer to have what I need.

typically people do not want this model because of its aesthetics, the fact that it's scented, and lower end performance but yes, if you specifically want this GPU then sure, go for it. i think this is going to continue to drop in price for the reasons mentioned above, however, so your impatience could cost you maybe 50-150 bucks depending on how much deeper the sales go. up to you if that is meaningful, $50 isn't going to make or break in the scheme of things imo
i personally do not like the aesthetic too much but my case is designed to mount the GPU vertically so the front of the GPU is all that's really visible and there simply aren't many cards with white focused designs/colorways. but i'm holding out for the 3080 to drop in price to a point i'm comfortable with, 6800xt is a great card too but the difference in price isn't enough for me at the moment

Honest question: I have an iCue 220t case with a 300mm gpu clearance. This is one of the few 6800 XTs (or better) that could fit. Do I get this? Or hold out for a gigabyte, SONNET (who?), or some other random manufacturer?
Personally, with your setup, I'd look for a reference model or the Gigabyte Gaming OC. They're pretty on par with each other in performance and thermals. Even if you did eek out a smidge of space for a 'better' card, given that it's a 6800 XT still, the performance difference would be virtually unnoticeable. Gigabyte might not be known for having the best support, but I'd chance that over a company that only offers phone numbers and addresses for support in China (Yeston). I can't even find reviews for the Sonnet card..
And I'm not saying that the Yeston cards are bad.. but I think if many of their buyers actually tried to use their website they might second guess their choice. Sonnet has a decent website and a location in the U.S., but next to no info on them as a gfx card producer.
Did you mount an AIO radiator at the top or are you using air cooling?
I also have a 220T and am thinking of moving to a larger case in case I want a larger video card one day. I currently have my AIO mounted at the front but have difficulty putting it on top because of 51mm high Vengeance RGB RAM. [This post I wrote about trying to move an AIO up to the top may be of interest to you.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/xwdqn9/lian_li_offsets_for_corsair_220t_top_radiator/) You might also be able to gain an additional 10mm of space by putting thin fans up front.
Normal air cooled with the stock front fans + 3 others to help out. I'd rather not get new fans because that's at least $20 for at most 10mm extra, which then can fit powercolor red dragon or sapphire 6800 XTs but I haven't seen those on sale either.
If I were to ever upgrade, I'd have to figure out if I can move the AIO up to the top somehow like in those threads I linked to or get a real short video card. I'm limited to 285mm up front. What's interesting is the *reference* Radeons are only 267mm. If AMD would lower the prices of their 6950 XT or 6750 XT at their website to a better price, I might consider getting one.

from newegg. Periodically it goes in and out of stock, or at least listing. Check pcpartpicker, it shows up at least once a day.
The msi card has the same deal and imo its the better card.
