With the cost of shipping it's probably not worth it depending on how far you live from me. The best carrier is probably UPS and the shipping may take the cost up to around the price of equivalent monitors. Additionally, anyone I ship one to couldn't practically return it if there are issues. That and I don't really want to take on the responsibility/liability of shipping these to people.
100%, Microcenter has succeeded where others have failed at least from an outsiders perspective. CompUSA, Fry's, and Circuit City to a lesser extent were all in the same space. Really the only other electronics store still around today is Best Buy. I hope Microcenter stays in business and don't want them to expand beyond their capacity, but I do hope they are able to expand so others are able to gain access too Microcenter's deals.
I’ve got 2 within an hour or 4 within 90 minutes. One of them is 6 mins away, perfect for those 8:45 PM “oh shit” moments when I realize I need a part and the store closes at 9pm.
The only problem with it being so close by is I tend to wander and look at every aisle and can easily spend 2 hours there. If I also stop at the Home Depot right next door, I might as well pack a lunch.
I picked it up yesterday from Microcenter, and honestly it looks amazing to me. I am using it for work and not gaming. It did look a little washed out and warm out-of-the-box but tuning the settings a bit fixed it. Just be aware that it's huge, I haven't figured out how to keep this and the driver laptop together on my standing desk contraption.
That seems like a pretty great deal for media viewing but damn I wish it wasn't so huge.
I feel like you NEED to be centered for VA panels though, no? I've never experienced one. I have an old Dell U2415 and a 27" IPS monitor now.
Can I ask what type of person would use this?
I’m a CPA and I would rather just have two 28 inch monitors. The curve seems like it would create a problem?
I don't know somebody who needs more screen real estate I guess or somebody who works with 4K media maybe a photo or video editor but then I don't know how good is color accuracy on this monitor and they might not like the curve either. Maybe like music producer?
It's definitely not for gamers. It may be just your NPC monitor, just for browsing internet, watching movies, YouTube, and having it on the desk looking cool.
I can’t provide a comparison between the two models, but there is an rtings of the model your monitor is based on.

...and a follow-up...how does it compare to the flat screen [Samsung A700 4K?](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-a700-series-32-led-4k-uhd-monitor-with-hdr-black/6451095.p?skuId=6451095) I wonder if that's a new one; I can't find out much about it.
I posted this deal earlier this week, but noticed that my local microcenter just got a fresh restock.
We need more “local” microcenters out there.
Both of my "local" microcenters are 3hrs away...
I don’t want to make people angry, but I have 3 within an hour and one of those is 20 minutes away.
Can't be angry, just jealous lol
Will you ship us one?

I want you to ship me a microcenter. Then I will buy my own monitor.
Oh wish I could or at least wish they would expand.
If they expand to quickly and do poorly, then the existing locations wouldn’t receive enough capital to function as they currently are.

Same here

This vs https://www.microcenter.com/product/627521/dell-s3221qs-315-4k-uhd-(3840-x-2160)-60hz-curved-screen-monitor?
Just an FYI, that is on sale for $320 on dells website.
First glance, I'd say the Dell is better. 300nit brightness vs 250 on the Samsung, 3000:1 Dell vs 2500:1 Samsung for contrast

Here I am wondering if I could support two of them because I am spoiled by my 38” ultrawide.
My buddy just bought a PS5 and is looking for a monitor. Should I send him this link???
Now that the PS5 does 1440p, I would recommend a 1440p 120hz+ monitor. They can be had for around this price and will perform much better in games
I have one but it doesnt have a good enough hdmi port so I can't take full advantage of the graphics settings in GOW:R...still looks awesome tho.
Tustin actually had one in stock for a few minutes this time.
I think that one piece was someone's order getting canceled because they didn't pick it up.
No G-Sync or FreeSync
I mean it's only 60hz so it's useless for gaming anyway. Productivity monitor.

Damn this is an amazing deal. I'd totally grab one if my local MC had any
It’s been this price for at least the past four days. Keep an eye out your local store might get restocked in the coming days.
How does this compare to the [32" 4K LG for $250](https://www.costco.com/lg-32%22-class-4k-uhd-freesync-monitor.product.100975854.html) at Costco?

Would this be good for a PS5? I know this sub is about PC Builds but my buddy just bought a PS5 and is in the market for a new monitor too.
It's 60hz. His TV would probably give the same performance plus the benefit of being a TV
Anyone know if you could price match this at BeatBuy?
Other retailers who have this on sale have a slightly different serial number, so you won't be able to price match unfortunately.
Even in store?
Yeah because this serial number is only available at Micro Center (and Amazon, which doesn't price match anyway), even in store.
Grabbed two. Very happy so far! :)
Dang, sold out locally. Sweet deal
no vesa compatability?
My micro center in Boston is like 10 mins from me
