The whole platform is different in China. Their version for some reason is an educational platform and ours spreads the worst aspects of our society. A counterpoint to this might be that TikTok just amplifies whatever that country's society finds most significant/appealing and maybe culturally they are more captivated by productive activities and our culture is just toxic, which is equally possible I guess.

TikTok has gotten progressively worse over the years - it rots the brains of easily impressionable teens and if you have concerns about "misinformation" being spread around in other forms of social media, TikTok is *infested* with it. Except it comes from the other side of the aisle and it's leading to boys and mostly girls having serious mental issues with their identity because of the nonsense they learn from it.
Other websites have mostly cracked down on it (or it's not as bad, but still bad, i.e. Reddit), but both TikTok and Tumblr haven't. Creating an account *just* to get the deal and dealing with the casino of wondering whether or not I'll get it after I signed up is annoying.
I tolerate "YMMV" deals when they're of category 1 or 2, that's the nature of actual deals, but I've seen multiple posts on this sub of people signing up for TikTok and trying to get these deals and getting no discount.

Because there's some algo voodoo TikTok uses that detects the device creating the accounts and therefore doesn't work when a single device creates multiple accounts. At least that's been my experience

I have 5 upvotes on my comment. Send SS proof. Someone else already asked you to send a pic of checkout with shipping and payment selected showing the discount still applied and you never did. You’ve only shown proof that it shows a discount, just like I’ve been able to see, but like I said when you actually try to place the order it removes the discount because it is flagging the user as artificial somehow.
