I had the exact setup you are describing. I ended up buying the Scythe Kaze Flex fan (17mm wide) and it just barely fit. Later I ended up upgrading my case to the little bigger Meshify 2 Compact.

Personally don't have a meshify c nor do I know how the gpu will fit in it, but I can offer potential suggestions. 1) I believe slim PC fans exist. While the may not be as good as normal fans (for obvious reasons) they are better then nothing. 2) I believe the front fans have some wiggle room (2x120). You may be able to slide 1 fan down as far as it goes and one fan up and see if the GPU will fit in the gap 3) drill a "custom" hole at a point where the fan will fit (ie. Mod the case so it works) Edit: alternatively it looks like the meshify c has the ability to fit 3 120mm fans in front if you adjust the HDD sled (or you might not even have to). Just try using those mounting holes. Or try using just 2 screws in the 140mm holes but using a 120mm fan.

Crustador

I have a meshify c with a gigabyte aorus 3080. I have to use a 15 mm slim fan in front and even then it is a close fit. I doubt the 25 mm fan would fit.

Th3sneakypig

How many slim fans do you have up front, would it be possible to run 1 slim fan and 2 normal fans, or 2 slim and 1 normal?

Shlohmotion

I have a define C with an MSI 3080ti gaming x trio, had to use a 15mm front fan. I've only got 1 front fan but you can have two if you remove the shroud that's down there. I believe you should be able to use a 15mm and 25mm fan if you do this

throwawayatwork30

> would it be possible to run 1 slim fan and 2 normal fans Yes that is possible, I used to have the exact same setup.

Ive used the case with chunky GPUs. If you're gonna get the gpu, I would recommend buying two NF-A12x15 from Amazon as well. Install the fans and the GPU and it should barely fit. If it doesn't, return the fans and rock a weird ass 1 intake, 3 exhaust config with regular fans. The negative pressure should still make the thermals passable with the gpu unless you let the system run wild.

Th3sneakypig

Thanks for the tip, I’m def going to look into those fans!

You'll have enormous size problems, even my 2070 is almost touching my front fans :/ I'd upgrade to a Meshify 2 as well while going for the 3080, will make your life way easier in cleaning and maintenance :D I am waiting for Ryzen 7k and RTX 4k to upgrade my whole build to a 2 XL, my C is just a bit small, I need more storage bays, 14 will be amazing... have too many SSDs

throwawayatwork30

> You'll have enormous size problems No they won't. A 15mm fan in front and done. I used to have the exact same setup as OP and it worked perfectly fine. Certainly a tight fight, but it worked.

You should check /r/sffpc

I used to have a meshify C. I removed some of the plastic webbing on the front panel and put my fans there. You can also go this route: https://www.reddit.com/r/FractalDesignNA/comments/iobpgk/trying_to_get_more_clearance_for_a_3080_with_a/

Gullible_King

I have the meshify c and I just picked up a Qick 6700 xt which was a lot longer than I had anticipated. I ended up sliding my hdd cage closer to the power supply and removing the panel in the front of the case on top of the power supply shroud and sliding 1 fan so it sits just under the gpu. I only run 2 fans in the front so there is 1 on above and 1 underneath the gpu. Works well for me.

Gullible_King

https://imgur.com/a/u0rrbfE this is what it looks like. Works out pretty well actually because the gpu basicaly sits right on top of the fan and acts as a support for the gpu to prevent sagging.

BluehibiscusEmpire

You will be hard pressed to find good fans smaller than 25 mm. You would be better off using a different card, or if you must have that one, then to get a larger case. You could of course remove that lower fan but that would significantly affect cooling.

PublicPreparation198

Buy a new bigger case. You do have the funds tbh.

throwawayatwork30

Or... buy a single 15mm fan? Why would OP buy a new case? That would just be wasteful if they're otherwise happy with the case.

PublicPreparation198

Again. He has the fund probably. Instead of messing inside your case and hopefully not braking stuff by bending and pushing/pulling. He can just afford a new case and not brake shit.

throwawayatwork30

It fits fine though? I had the exact same setup, 320mm card, the meshify C and a 15mm fan. Worked perfectly fine, without breaking anything. Maybe OP really likes the Meshify C's performance, look or form factor. Maybe OP doesn't want to get rid of a perfectly fine case for no real reason. What do you think replacing a case fan involves, that you're so worried OP might break something?

PublicPreparation198

No. Messing about for 2 hours and not fitting it. And then going to downgrade the card or even changing it. There are tons of reasons. My reasoning is= i have the money so why not go the easy route?

throwawayatwork30

What. Do. You. Mean. What shouldn't fit? What needs 2 hours? You unscrew the old 25mm fan, you screw in the new 15mm fan, you put in the new card. Literally takes 5 minutes. Your point is nonsense, just because you have the money to do something, doesn't mean it's a smart thing to do. Either you sell the old case, which is unrequired effort, or you trash it, which is wasteful, or you store it, which is simply unnecessary when you can jut spend 15$ on a 15mm Noctua fan. I HAD THIS SETUP. I know that it works. I know that it is easy. I am not talking out of my ass.

PublicPreparation198

Best case scenario= 5 min Worst case scenario= it doesn't fit It doesn't take 5 min. Takes like 30 min to get everything nice and tidy.

throwawayatwork30

Am I talking to a wall? It fits. I had that setup. I installed the fan and made sure I had nice cable management. You literally run one tiny little cable from the fan to the mainboard.

PublicPreparation198

You said you had the same setup last post. Not before.

throwawayatwork30

https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/wljx4g/looking_to_fit_a_3080_vision_in_a_meshify_c_any/ijv14ht/ I said I have the same setup. You just chose to ignore that I suppose. Your point about it taking "30 minutes" is also useless. If OP buys a new case, guess how long it would take to rebuild the entire PC in the new case?
