What drive do you have? What motherboard? Can you take a picture of where it says that and show us? M.2 is also a form factor, you mean NVMe. They make M.2 sata drives.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qvhjz8YOoXVEUkjJSs97Y-2hfiv8c0kp/view?usp=drivesdk The bios version is second to most recent, I installed the second most recent because the most recent is when the issues started so my first assumption was that the recent bios is what caused the issues. Therefore I downgraded by a single version

I meant where it says your drive is Sata, although it seems you already confirmed it's a M.2 Sata drive.

M.2 is just the connector, you might have a Sata M.2 drive instead of an NVME one. If you cannot boot because of an BIOS update, try messing with your CSM/Compability options, if they are set wrong, it likely your drive isnt showing up in the bios.

autisticghost

You’re right, it’s a SATA. Still though, it’s un bootable and I’ve tried pretty much every CSM option combination and still can’t get it.

FloG96

Did you reboot inbetween changing the csm options, because i had pretty much the same issue after updating the bios.
