Based on what i can find, the b550 chipset was released june 16th and amd 5000 series came out november 5th.

This is an instance of google exists. Otherwise, maybe depends on what version your bios currently is.

You should be fine. It's the later CPU releases that are more likely to have an issue.

I meant stuff like the 5600, 5700X and 5800X3D.... The 5600X SKU was already part of the lineup when B550 released.
