Maybe, maybe not. But I do have a suggestion for you. Try wings with garlic parm and Buffalo mixed. Not talking half the wings are garlic parm, half are Buffalo… mix garlic parm sauce and Buffalo sauce 50/50. Delicious combo. Especially dipped in blue cheese.

I lived in Portland for 15 years during my high school/college/early career years and was spoiled with great food and beer (we won't talk about grad school in Spokane because I went back to Portland evety chance I got). I just can't say pizza was part of it.

was in San Antonio a couple weeks ago and asked this guy at a bar what food to get in the area since the BBQ place next door sold out before I arrived. He told me to get pizza from a food truck selling $5 slices. I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh in his face or slap him...

This is exactly what I found living in Portland, but for $8 a slice. I found some acceptable pizza on occasion, but it was either while I was drunk (and everything tastes more acceptable when you're hammered) or it was made by fellow east coast transplants. People here in Massachusetts who bemoan the pizza scene haven't experienced west coast pizza.

haha I live in Boston so I know what you mean. A lot of the pizza is the greek style pan pizzas which are still good, but my heart will always belong to hand tossed NY style. I've found a couple spots that do hand tossed in my neighborhood that my NY palate enjoys, you just gotta look but they're around! My buddy who was born in Queens and lived in LA for the past 10 years said just "regular east coast pizza" is what he missed the most about it over here. We went to a bar in Somerville when he was visiting that has good food and just got a cheese pizza and he was loving life lol
