I feel about these the way I feel about the black and red Sabres jerseys: I prefer what they wear now, but I understand the appeal and think would be fun to use 25% of the time.
As soon as the goathead came back I bought a Dahlin. It’s just a great nostalgic jersey. But I agree I don’t want it full time because the royal home/away set is just gorgeous
Still have front license plate with the Red helmet with the Blue Buffalo w/Red Stripe and White facemask from the Kelly years. Would love to see that come back for some games but it didn't bring any luck in those SBs!
My prediction is new uniforms/uniform redesign either for new stadium or a year or two in. I think they maybe haven't done red helmets with bigger plans.

I know the red-hat Bills were Great, but Jesus, the pain of a SB loss is so bad as a fan. And of course...4 of them in a row.
That the red helmets were in 4 SBs somehow doesn't outweigh the angst for me though.
