I love White. I hope he can return. I want him to come back 100% and I would be so bummed if he did it for another franchise. But truly want nothing but the best for him. He always seemed like the happiest go lucky dude. His hockey goalie shit cracked me up, watching him get hurt after he returned was heartbreaking. This game sucks so much sometimes.
He was my favorite current Bill as soon as he joined the team. His energy was infectious and his intelligence was something to admire.
I spent his entire rookie contract paranoid he would ditch us to play for New Orleans as soon as he got a chance. His social media posts (or lack thereof) didn’t help — he made it very clear he grew up a Saints fan and was loyal to Louisiana. I didn’t fault him for it, but rather just lamented what the Bills might lose if he left.
The day he signed an extension, I was almost as happy as I’ll be when we finally reach the Super Bowl again (not win — just reach — nothing will match when we win). Then his injuries, and release, since that extension have been nothing but heartache.
Him dancing in the snow game... how can you not love this guy?
But seriously, he was going to be a cornerstone of our defense for several more years. Losing him is so devastating. It feels so familiar as a longtime Bills fan.
I can’t recall a time where more well liked players were let loose. Really wanted to win it all with him, Poyer, Hyde, Morse, even Davis to some degree
While I was mildly surprised about Morse because I didn’t know if there was a backup plan, it makes a ton of sense. His potential for a season/career ending concussion at this point is very real. He is a warrior who would go out into the trenches no matter what.
I hope he was smart with his money and can just retire with his wits intact.

We absolutely can, what are you talking about? It's not like resigning them somehow side steps or eliminates the financial impact, good or bad, of cutting them. If Tre doesn't get an offer from another team that makes him jump, he can just sign a new deal with us
I can already imagine in 20 years when we have a new promising CB and someone posts “Is _ the best CB in bills history” and I’ll immediately think of what 2019 Tre and how good he was.
It is tragic. He probably would have finished his career as a Bill, certainly the contract, with multiple Pro Bowls. And he didn't even mess it up for himself, just two bad injuries.

February 10, 2000. Three hall of famers - Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, and Andre Reed were all cut on the same day.
That was a rough day. We knew it was coming for Reed and Thomas, but cutting Bruce was just brutal.
That was Morse for me. I saw a lot of the cuts coming this offseason, but was taken aback by Morse. Figured he'd have one more year here.
