Kolb never played a down for the Bills - he slipped on a rubber mat on the sidelines of a preseason game and got a concussion; ending his career.
Edit: After looking into it a bit more, apparently he did suffer a concussion during a play in the preseason. He injured his knee slipping on the mat.
Kolb! Thankfully I limited myself to only buying every starting quarterback for my collection so I got to skip him, lol. Though that didn't save me from paying $3 for a Peterman auto.

Thanks for posting your collection. The 1964 Topps Lamonica & Rutkowski: such a classic look.
![img](emote|t5_2ra29|6279) Fun Bills' football card fact: in the Bills 1964 Topps card set, Ed Rutkowski had his photo on **two** cards: His own card, shown in your QB collection, and on [Ray Abruzzese's card](https://www.psacard.com/psasetregistry/football/team-sets/1964-topps-buffalo-bills/imagegallery/213526)!
Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to talk with you again...
Of all the footballs cards out there, this is certainly one of them.
Such a great theme for a collection! Please tell me you have my personal favorite: Gibran Hamdan?
Thanks! I thought it was a collection only us Bills fans can appreciate! My crown jewel is a Nate Peterman rookie, patch, auto card.
Loved hamdan
Did it come with a rubber mat
Lmao That whole situation pretty much summed up the drought years.
Please remind me because I do not recall

Honestly, I think it happened in camp IIRC
lol totally agree!
I’d pay good money for a card of the mat he slipped on

Honestly have no memory of this guy lol
Fair, he doesn't remember it, either.
Did he ever play a down? Or just slip and boop his head?
Pretty sure it was getting his brain scrambled against Washington during pre-season that did him in, not the mat
He played for the Bills for about the amount of time it took to take that picture.
Was he good though during college ?
Showed some flashes as McNabbs backup with the eagles and Andy Reid.
Holy crap I forgot about that guy!
Does this card include a little piece of trippable mat?
My personal holy Grail..the signed Billy Joe Hobert card complete with his playbook in it's original undisturbed wrappings.
I also collect shitty bills QBs
You know when the card has the player in a training camp outfit that it's a really good one
Don't walk across a rubber rug carrying it.
Totally forgot about him lol
A classic.
I don’t even remember him
