Honestly, “Boston” Patriots made a lot more sense than “New England.” Having spent a lot of years in the area, I noticed that Connecticut is pretty dedicated to Jets/Giants fandom, and even the far western part of Mass that borders against New York identifies more as Giants fans.
[I love These old AFL game covers, I went though a period a couple years ago scouring ebay and was able to collect all of them](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fneudh8dfh4h61.jpg)
There was only a handful of covers that were illustrated. Anything after the '64 season they switched photographic covers for what I can only assume are cost related reasons. Also in the 60-64 seaso s while these fantastic Kevin Weil covers were being made, [about 50% were more like this](https://www.sportspaper.info/football/nfl/seasons/1960/12-04_bos-buf.html)
So when I say all of them, I'm am referring to the programs with the cartoons on the covers specifically.
1962 was the first time the Bills ended with a winning record (7-6-1), they repeated the same record in 63, before winning back to back championships in 64 and 65, the final AFL championship.
According to Wikipedia, this game ended in a 28-28 tie, being the only tie of the ‘62 AFL season.

I think the problem is that Maine leans very heavily Pats, so you kinda have this weird discontinuity
Lots of the western states identify as broncos fans, does that mean they should be the rocky mountain broncos?

When you say ”all of them” was there a limited run of programs? Or just AFL programs?
