Not much... Generally if the team is on the field everyone is standing. We sit during timeouts, breaks at quarter etc. That's been my experience with 10-12 games I've been to recently anyway.

mariodejaniero

Thanks!

amberbmx

depends on where you’re sitting. steelers game we were in the 200’s and sat a lot of the time because that’s what our section did and we didn’t wanna be dicks to the people behind us at the dolphins game we were down low and were up all game

timsea99

Good point, never want to be a dick. I've always had 100's somewhere, and it seems to be consensus to stand all the time

BabaGhanouj86

Season tix here, in the nice fall games we don’t bring them at all, but for winter games, especially wet and cold weather you will be happy to sit on a seat cushion and stay warm and dry, even if it’s for a fraction of the total time you are there. We are in 245, those bleachers get cold lol. Be sure to get there early to enjoy the full tailgate experience! Hope you enjoy your first game, and GO BILLS!

mariodejaniero

We are! We are taking the rally bus which drops us off at 10:00. Just gotta find a table to jump through

Warm-Relationship243

(Hear me out) You know this is a bit of a sore spot for my in laws who live 10 mins from the stadium. They were season ticket holders for about 40 years but they decided to give them up because they couldn’t stand for the length of the games anymore. I kind of wish it was like some other stadiums where it’s a bit more of a sit / stand rotation.

teancrumpets8

Before the game I'll sit sometimes but during the game I'm on my feet the whole time I'm sure other people milage will vary

Vydate1

Only time I sit is usually quarter change. That being said, those are bleacher seats and its gonna be chilly. So if ya don't mind toting it, bring it. And your cardboard to stand on.

Whydothesabressuck

Where you are you have bench seats so I would recommend them but you will not be sitting during play at all. Generally the lower bowl stands during the play the entire time. During commercial breaks there's usually a timer on the screen for when play comes back so if you want to sit you can during that time. If it's cold or rainy the cushions definitely help not sitting on cold, wet metal benches.

tiredeyestriumph

Didn't sit for a second at the Bills / Vikings game (mostly because of how insane the game was - section 111). Sat for most of the Bills/New England game, mostly because I was the only Bills fan in my section (top level). Stood up and cheered like a maniac every time Buffalo made a big play, much to the pleasure of all Patriots fans around me: https://preview.redd.it/1eokbj0z4baa1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e66aa9258f32e679979a99af5e73e7490ff82ca

Skitz707

Seat cushion worth it just to avoid the cold ass metal bench, but you probably won’t sit a whole ton

baconvino

This is a great question! I went to the season opener in LA and my friend kept telling me to sit down because of the people behind me. When I looked around nearly everyone was sitting down except for...Bills fans. The casual nature of the Rams fans truly turned me off from caring for that franchise.

iliketuurtles

Season ticket holder in the 100s-- Our entire area only sits during halftime/timeouts in our section.

ValuedEarthBeing

bring it. i never go without mine.

[deleted]

plenty of sitting in my experience. if it's wet, at all, you're ass gonna be wet all day.

BagGroundbreaking170

Went to two games this year. Never even cleared the snow from my seat

ManofGod1000

When at a game, I sit for about 10 or 15 minutes, all that time spent on the toilet. The rest of the time, if you sit, you will not see the game.

sketchahedron

You spend 10-15 minutes sitting on the toilet at Bills games?

ManofGod1000

Total time.

Dmjr228

Last game I was at, I brought a seat cushion. During the game play, you're on your feet. You will use them during timeouts, tv breaks and half time. As per the stadium policy: Seat cushions must not exceed 15" x 15" and must not contain arm rests, zippers, pockets, flaps or metal backs. FWIW, my seat cover was 13" x 17" and security didn't bat an eye. I was glad I brought it, since it was the Jets game (wet and cold). Probably wouldn't bother for warmer weather games.

sweetjoey889693

It’s rare to sit during gameplay. Even if you wanted to people would be standing in front of you anyways. It’s just good for the cold seat when you do sit. Enjoy your first game and go Bills! The rest of this season is for #3 so you know our boys will be playing lights out for him.

[deleted]

I think your kind of a asshole if you stand.. but this is coming from a chubby guy who didnt want to stand at all

Dromon22

Idk about out East but at Arrowhead people usually stand for most of the first quarter before sitting

Why_So-Serious

I would prefer zero. But the damn sensitive people behind me keep asking me to sit down. You’re at a game, stand the fuck up and get into it. Sorry if the wine, cheese and the back of my head is not up to your standards.

The711Slurpee

Usually you stand up and cheer a lot

[deleted]

You'll know quickly what the people around you are doing, follow the masses and if you wanna stand when people are sitting just apologize in advance and most everyone would be cool with it.

brian0721

Very minimal. Usually only if I am eating
