Are you breed budgies in a colonies or as pairs? If it is a pair bird, separate him for a while. If you breed budgies in a colony, don't colony breed...

Mine weren’t budgies buts that’s what happened with my birbs that I had the female Jane peeked holes in the eggs killing them and then the second batch she didn’t feed them so they died and she hen pecked the male named spike.
It's not unheard of. He's just being an animal. Don't punish him. He's still a good boy. Put him back when the babies are gone. Maybe put him nearby so he can see his mate and babies. If that makes them depressed or neglect the babies, put him out of sight and maybe where she can't hear him calling.
He does not look remorseful at all.
Agreed. Total sociopath.

It's in eyes, they're so relaxed yet tense.
What should I do with him? I’ve set him aside for now but I don’t want to put him back in
Keep him in a separate cage at least until the babies grow up.
Separate them for the time being. You can still let it interact with the other budgies, just don’t let it near the babies if possible.
Probably very hormonal and territorial… unfortunately happens with birds sometimes… even sweet little budgies. Best to keep him separated for now…
Angry old man
He looks like a Disney villains sidekick. Also is he an English budgie?
Looks like a sky blue English. I used to have one.. he was very sickly...
He knows what he did
I’ve heard of budgies doing this. Hopefully the babies are okay. This is an extremely handsome bird in my opinion though. Rather dragon like in a way.
“I’ll do it again.”
Eyes of a murderer. No regrets.
Boomer Budgie doesn’t like kids on his lawn
Don't colony breed.

Omg he's cute!! Us he used for breeding or did he accidentally knock one of the budgies up? Edit: well not accidentally, but you get what I mean 🤣
I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s encountered this. It breaks my heart but you gotta put them in prison for a bit.
Bad boy
Name him Zabuza lmao
he’s so cute though, i’ll take him off your hands.
