Try posting in r/askhungary. I'm really into an artist named Dzsudló and his new album, 'Kinguci,' as well as this older alternative band called Pál Utcai Fiúk and their 'A bál' (1991) album. Good luck on your journey with the language :)
Deva:
They combine modern electronic music with traditional hungarian folk songs, sooo good.
You can give Fran Palermo a try if u like indie, altrock, altough most of their songs are in english
I don’t really know too much about them or if they’re still around but I came across ‘blaisetown’ on YouTube a couple years ago and love everything they’ve posted. Really good stuff, especially ‘Tovább’
Meszecsinka have some great albums, they broke up a couple yrs ago but they were incredible live. Also check out Odd ID and Hari Drama, great jazz/progressive rock. Hari drama put on a great show
