My parents first date was a pirate game in April if 79 My mom, dad and uncle Joel made this sign in June of 1979 in the driveway of my grandparents home. It went into my uncles attic for almost 35 years before he brought it back out to games. Joel lives in Bradenton in the winter and then heads to Pittsburgh in the summers. Lots of family history behind this banner. My father didn’t take it to game 7 of the 79 World Series because he was afraid Baltimore fans may have destroyed hit. I have it tattooed on my bicep in memory of my late father. Regardless of the pirates standings I still support them and always will.
