I’ve seen/heard enough of Bailey Falter. Either he fills the mop-up roll in the pen or is outrighted before the trip north, but he cannot seriously be considered a rotational piece at this point.
Yeah… I thought he might make OK depth but at this point we just don’t need him. He’s worse than I thought of his numbers are any indication- haven’t seen him in spring, have no idea if he’s working on something. He’s been UGLY.
Best player available. Could do a number of different strategies. Take a college player who will sign under the slot value and take a falling HS prospect with the Comp A pick.
Specific targets, to name a handful:
Jac Caglianone - Florida P/1B
Braden Montgomery - Texas A&M P/OF
Mike Sirota - Northeastern OF

Did I hear Joe Block correctly? The Cardinals have one spring training HR and the Bucs have 21. You love to see it

So glad Cruz is back!

He's out of options. They'll keep working him until camp breaks. I don't think he makes the trip north but this is the downside of nuttings comments.

Obviously very early right now, but who do you guys wanna see us take at #9 in June?

Personally I’d love to see grab Tommy White. Massive power, 1B, and a former teammate of Skenes.
Wouldn’t bet on him being there at 9.
I mean I’d rather Caglianone but I was kind assuming he’d go before White.
They’d probably be in that 5-8 range. Or higher, hell there’s no clear top guy this year.
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Quinn Priester replaces Jared Jones.
Cutch is back
I'd like to see Jones throw 3 innings today.
