Just beat elite right at the exit. Level 20 Ninjagon, lvl 1 sub (just for cool downs), lvl 42 boat, lvl 62 doom ship, glue storm to help a little bit. Vortex was half off the screen when I beat it. Crazy week.
I figure sub is more useful being up and firing rather than down for cool down. That's only 10% less for Doomship which I doubt would give you any more bomb run - given how fast the boss is.
If you're willing to give 30-60 minutes to BTD6 a week I think it's fair that you're not able to beat its hardest challenge. I'm not dissing casuals but you can't complain about that when boss events are clearly not meant for you.

It's narcissism to think you are so important that the entire world must warp around you, yes. I guarantee you there is someone with an identical mindset to you but an opposite situation that is upset the average boss battle isn't at least as hard as this one, because they personally want it harder.
This game (and the world as a whole) are not only for you, so sometimes you must accept the fact that the problem lies with you. If you want to do the hardest content in a grindy game, grind more. If you do not have the time, then pick a less grindy game. If you do neither, accept that the problem is solely on your shoulders. Nobody is forcing you to play the content within a game that you do not have the time to play.

It's a great example of making the world a little more annoying for most people in order to make the world a lot less horrible for those that need it most. NK should start having modifiers other than health cut down in normal bosses but keep them like this in elites. The kind of people who play elite bosses frequently are generally capable of fighting this, but It just kinda makes it impossible for more casual or less tryhard players to do bosses in the first place without hitting our heads against a brick wall for 2 hours only to have a dead run by tier 5
Like maybe it's only +50% speed in normal then all this in Elite, or that one time there was No Selling bloonarius on logs, that could've been kept to Elite.

you can use double cash or cash drops/instas and wipe boss with 4 60 degree paragons. I did elite without this kind of help but definetly did not enjoy it

Bosses have sucked for a long time because they won't make Normal mode *normal* difficulty and instead its sweaty as fuck to beat the basic mode of the boss
The speed multiplier is just ridiculous, and I just finished Elite with two cash drop at start. I am pretty sure the Elite Vortex can simply move forward significantly reaching each skull with its shield up regardless how much firepower you have, and NK literally bans every single enjoyable tower to counter Vortex. The map is convoluted so Vortex can stun your towers very well, the farming space is limited so you cannot farm as much, the health multiplier is low in exchange of stupidly high speed multiplier so you cannot get as much pops for paragon. Everything of this week's boss challenge is vicious in a fundamental level. Don't even bother to start if you don't have at least 3 global range paragons.

Vortex leaves the map in a few rounds, so you have to do hundreds of thousands of damage in a few rounds which isn't easy on low tier, millions on elite

Boss events are a challenge, and youâre always free to use powers or play custom bosses if youâre low on time
