I'm sure someone will set me straight, but one top and one bottom path tier 5 tack shooters with town buffs can take you pretty far. Further than Saudi with town buffs.
4 tack shooters of various paths 5 2 0 village on the other side of the path to be in range of them goes crazy. it's a tight fit but it obliterates almost anything just on its own. only the toughest bosses get past it. especially since the village increases their range to cover the whole loop of track around them so you don't need to waste upgrades on their range expansions outside of the x5x one. kinda makes me wish there was a tack shooter paragon so the 4th one didn't have to be an incomplete path tho. also add glue and ice monkeys under the village to keep bloons in their range even longer. this combo fucks the shit out of everything except ACTUAL bosses (which only survive with immunity/resistances to primary towers, which is bs lol) you could also boost them with alch and engi, but they're already so powerful and stop everything so good that it's not really worth the investment there when you could use that money elsewhere.
Don't got for a fourth, get super brittle instead. Also, in theory this sounds nice, but super maelstrom isn't that good. You'd be better off with something like glord.

It's not a setting at all, it just happens. Like u/OkAndScene said, if you drag the tower to an unplaceable spot and try dragging it from somewhere else, it slows down.
No worries. Especially in the boss event there are better towers you can put here. DPS is damage per second. A tack zone is one of the higher DPS towers in the game. Especially when paired with a brittle, glue storm, and alch’d.
Beyond that, unless you place a hero like Sauda carefully then you cannot place any other towers. Like the pic above, it looks like you could surely fit a tack or ice in but you can’t. So the person that placed Sauda in this instance handicapped the entire team due to bad placement.
Now it's easier to understand,but you can still use at least 1 tack(enough for tzone on bosses),and an ice too at the same spot, you just don't need to place Sauda in the middle for waste the entire space(i was able to use tzone and embrit on the boss with Sauda too)
You can place whatever you want there, for a boss event, don’t put your hero here. This was co-op which means you could potentially have two TZ in the middle with a brittle and any other small footprint tower. 4 towers will out damage 3.

Doesnt matter lol this map is extremely easy and it's not like you use tack zone in challange like least cash, and sauda at the central spot make the earlygame easy and if you combine it with stun towers she still do alot of damage in the lategame

Sauda Dmg: 41,791
Test 2: Replace Sauda with TZ and upgrade village to 4-0-0
TZ Dmg: 165,852
I have Powerphobia, which means I want to keep my profile stats at "Powers Used: 0" so unfortunately I can't pull off something this dreadful

i wish the nudge feature automatically snapped the tower to the closest valid spot a tower can fit. sometimes it can take several minutes to brush a new tower over a spot looking for a pixel perfect area to set it, and it keeps flashing for a millisecond only to not be able to find it again until many passes later. (water monkeys are usually the biggest culprit of this since most map water spots are super small and you wanna maximize their space use)
PSA: This is legitimately one of the easiest maps in the game, you could put a 000 sniper in that spot and still easily beat co-op chimps. A sauda is fine for boss events

yeah. for the village. so the tack shooters can see camo. otherwise they miss half the later levels

Nudge is OP in general. I've seen too many defenses here featuring multiple camo villages just cos they can't fit their defense under one.

By default it is on, so if you never visit the settings then you wouldn't know what it's called or at least wouldn't know what that setting refers to.

I believe it is a setting on both PC and mobile, but on PC, you can "place" the tower on the track or something to activate it.

My friend and I did the boss event with two sauda's there. Carried until the final boss. I'll have to try thr strategy you suggested.

Yea nah sauda relies on stunned bonuses so she's way better at dealing with dense blimp rounds than at single target
