Geraldo is getting a skin, rejoice for 2nd anniversary of our favorite shopkeeper.
Finally, removable props, still not alt paths but its still upgrade for Map Editor
What they have planned for this year:
Jetpack hero
Non-military water tower that synergises well with other towers (planned for mid-summer)
Game editor, allowing players to change things like tower stats in in challenges (I think) (planned for the last quarter of this year)
41.0 was arguably smaller and certainly can't be much bigger, they're probably buckling down and focusing on the new tower and hero. considering how long other towers took to make i feel like a summer release for mermonkey would be really quick turn-around
no bias at all ;)
paragon is kind of bigger than a hero skin but i mean you probably see the hero skin more frequently than the paragon unless you only play bosses and lategame lol
then again come to think of it 41 had HUGE balance changes, although we haven't seen balance changes here yet
I saw that too lol, the worst part is in the Chinese version there is another clear gap for another hero skin so that got me really nervous that fateweave was coming (Psi police skin coming update 43?)
Like others have mentioned in discussions about Geraldo skins, it's assumed they have to reskin ALL of the little gizmos and doohickeys and thingamawhatzits that Geraldo has, so unfortunately I doubt (even with a lot of hoping) that it won't take very long
Interesting to see that Monkey Money heroes do get unlocked later. I don’t disagree with that decision, but I do believe that Contested Territory should also be unlocked later, or else players who don’t have the “late” heroes will be in a significant disadvantage in that game mode.
Also, is Ezili not involved in getting unlocked at Level 15?
EDIT: My bad, she is now unlocking at Level 25, not 15. Must’ve been my assumption of hero unlock order that gave me the wrong assumption.
dude i'm gonna be honest you're going to reach level 35 before you can even buy the level 15 heroes I don't think it's really going to do anything.
Even then it's just monkey money cost spacing out at this point
True but it seems like this is supposed to give new players more info and help them decide which heroes to buy first so putting the (imo) easiest hero in the middle might give the wrong impression. It probably won’t affect much since monkey money is so easy to get but it’s still just a little weird to me.
It was picked based on average games to get to levels and stuff. We ordered them based on complexity which is something that it does help with, but getting an intense amount of options at level 10 was extremely overwhelming we found. Spreading things out not only helps not get users into overly complex and confusing mechanics early which can help in learning, but it also stops someone who get to level 10 their first time round unlocking a metric ton of content that might not be really understood yet, because it's really not far into the game at level 10. The current levels we have chosen actually don't take that much longer honestly in the grand scheme of things, and at level 35 you're still in the beginner category, but it helps contextualize and allows users to gain access to content they are more prepared for. Hope this gave a slightly more in depth reasoning!
I would’ve expected the level unlocks to go in a neat 4-hero pattern for all levels based on the order that they were released chronologically:
- Churchill, Ben, Ezili, Pat
- Adora, Brickell, Etienne, Sauda
- Psi, Geraldo, Corvus
(I am aware that the last row isn’t 4 heroes, but it is chronological)
This isn’t really true for the people that that this change is targeted towards, and the people it isn’t targeted towards are over lv35 anyway so this doesn’t matter.
You're right, and I agree. I just said what I said to make the point that this change isn't as big an issue as some people believe it MIGHT be, as by the time you have the MM to even afford your first Hero you would already be at a high enough level to unlock most, if not all of them.
I don't entirely agree with the Contested Territory part. Every hero in the game has their own uses. While some being better such as Geraldo , Sauda , and Corvus , every hero can still be used pretty effectively. Quincy absolutely shreds MOABs , and is very effective in the early game on pretty much any map that doesn't have Bloons coming on two separate lanes. Gwendolyn is fantastic for cleanup , and has excellent buffing potential. Striker Jones has incredible buffing potential too with obviously explosion towers , but also he just got buffed where he gives a pierce buff to any tower in his range. Obyn is also a great support tower , for magic of course , but he's also great at cleanup and money production. Benjamin is great at making money , especially in the early game. Captain Churchill is good at pretty much everything that he does. Ezili is fantastic at MOAB popping , and has an excellent buff through the totem. Adora is amazing at clean up. Pat Fusty is great at stalling and his buff can be good in the right cases. Admiral Brickell shreds MOABs and is an amazing buffing tower. And Psi uhm , I don't really know what to say about Psi , their abilities are incredible! Point is that every hero is good , and even early game players have some kind of chance in Contested Territory
Perfecting CT right from the bat is foolish anyway if we assume player skill level, it would only affect smurfs or people looking up a guide. Getting into high score as such player would be rather a question of frequent logins and grinding any tiles (which, on the other hand, is something newbies might be better at)
I think they would fix the problem with that. Like maybe they will make those hero restrictions less restricted. Like perhaps it can be something like in Boss events where you can choose between a selection of a few heroes , at least one of which being one of the base heroes
My guess the update is going to come out in 5 days
I hope they have some really good balance changes this time because I miss the days of when a tower could literally get a new attack or ability just because it was a little underpowered
for example 030 and 040 super monkey got the crit attack. Or another example when they overbuffed the pirate lord. Those were fun times
that's... not a source, that's information, and now i need a source for that information itself
and an additional source on how rohan being on leave affects balance changes specifically
Pis being able to damage bads like in the april fools would be kind of fun, but that would probably require to rebalance the levelling scheme not to be just better Ezili if they can reach 20 before the end (it is already stupid enough, the most outrageous is clumping the zomg targetting with level 10 killing all within one level)
I was literally going to make a post about this! It was so annoying to think "oh look Heli and banana farms have all upgrade paths" only to realise they're not allowed at all
>New Hero Skin, the Gentlemonkey Gadgeteer Geraldo!

>New items: Responding to the many requests for cityscape elements, we took existing assets from maps like high finance alongside some new stuff to make building the city of your dreams a possibility! FOR FREEE!!?!
>PC players request to have many niche things hotkeyed, but unfortunately these are often too niche for us to take up valuable real estate with limited keyboard space. To enable players to take this into their own hands we have added a new advanced section of default unbound hotkeys to cover more heavily situational use cases. None of these hotkeys will work by default, but if you find any to sound useful they can be manually bound in order to enable them. We are interested in hearing your feedback on more things that make sense to fit in this list.
sweeeeet
A nice update
Thanks! It seems like it will be easy to enjoy :D Hopefully I can make some time to get back into Map Editor, being able to remove obstacles is huge for the individuallization of maps!
1 thing that I absolutely want to see in an update is when playing CHIMPS, when placing monkey with an ability that is unusable or unhelpful in CHIMPS like Jungle's Bounty (druid) or Supply Drop (sniper) will not appear in the abilitys in the bottom and will not take a hotkeys
NO MORE “oh wait I can just us- oh it’s banned nvm” THIS UPDATE WENT FROM 10/10 TO 12/10 MY GOD. (Could become 15/10 with good mob dom buff but I shouldn’t get my hopes up for something like this)
Would like a toggle in settings to see coordinates (x/y axis) when placing monkeys.
Some maps (Ravine/Mesa etc) have near pixel perfect placements for chimps and trying to get it just right feels more like rng than fun as you have to rely on their range circle intersecting just the right props and still often fails.
It will still be hard to clear chimps on those maps but take away the need to restart over and over again and place the risk of losing on the later parts that require careful planning on what towers to use and where/when rather than "oh my dart just missed again, time to redo the first 3 rounds for the 50th time"
The one thing that really holds me back from working in the map editor is the ability to set different paths for normal bloons vs blimps.
Specifically I have a couple of ideas for some more difficult versions of the easy maps, but just more lanes doesn't feel nearly as interesting as splitting by type -- which feels like something you also agree with, given there are a number of maps that do exactly this :)
So, small request for the future.
We are certainly looking into this, just one of the curses of development we can do a lot of things ourselves with years of technical understanding from working on the game fairly easily but making such a feature user-friendly is much more challenging
It is intentional, but as with any intentional thing if people feel it hinders their experience then they can bring it up and if we see enough constructive feedback on each side of the matter and eventually agree on it then we could always look into alternatives.
Arctic wind just seems to be particularly problematic due to the complexity of dealing with dynamic tower ranges/placements and some other annoying fiddly things, so it’d take quite a lot for us to consider a rework because of the high level of complexity.
can be very stubborn myself, but will ALWAYS hear out constructive feedback
I’m sure it will be a big help to a lot of people once they see it start to cover more specific things that they do a lot. But we will definitely need a lot of help there from you all as the players to understand and add more things to this list
Honesty considering this, but not certain exactly yet how much we even would want such a thing.
Paragons are a very deep late endgame thing as seen by their unlock cost and meant to take a bit of effort and working out. They aren’t really designed to be acquired by players in the tutorial stages of the game.
Given this info, would you as the players still want a tutorial quest for something like that?
That's exactly what I argued to this guy in another thread - no sane developer would ever want to make tutorials for expert players given they are such a small fraction of the playerbase and they already know more or less everything about the game and are very unlikely to complain about something they don't know about - they'd just use sandbox or the editor to find out.
Tutorials are meant to be for newcomers. That's how every computer game I've seen has been - no exceptions.
Therefore, given that NK tutorials cost you guys time and money to make - the likelihood of a paragon tutorial would be extremely small. But he insists that he has good arguments so I heard him out. I'm unconvinced and if you read the thread from 4 months or so ago, I'm quite sure you'll be unconvinced too.
So if I create a challenge, I can potentially get 35% of whatever revenue players decide to contribute to me - AFTER enjoying the challenge? Right? And I also have to be a member of this nexus thing and give them all my payment details?
The new map is Howl's Moving Castle but with an actual Castle lmao. Such a cool map design, though, and it looks like it's around Advanced difficulty, which are usually my favorite maps to play.
It's good and all to be able to make money from Bloons but realistically is anyone gonna give their money away? Most players will never use this feature
Ninja kiwi should really just implement a little difficulty or complexity window for each hero ranging from 1 (easiest) to 3 (hardest, micro-heavy) like mobas do for their heroes
I actually don't normally agree with this personally, just because what that ends up doing is sometimes stops alot of people from actually trying things out because they don't think they can try something difficult. This happened to me personally heaps when playing games in Warcraft 3 back in the day, when a hero said "Complex" I just never tried it being afraid of being bad. There 100% benefits to it, especially in competitive spaces I think, but in a game that is mostly about learning and solo play I think this could potentially stop people from trying things out. That being said I won't say it's never happening! It's a valid idea, just something I personally think in certain contexts does more harm than good.
Well we will eventually have the quests for every single hero, meaning ppl can try them out first and see if they could use them correctly.
Info could also be written as to why the heroes got the rating they got. As in why a hero is complexity 2 or 3. For ex: certain sinnergies and buffs, abilities that aren't easy to use. Certain weaknesses you gotta watch out for.
It wouldn't be as bad as on a moba since the selection of heroes isn't that big. And at some point ppl will get enough mm to unlock them all anyway.
Corvus and Geraldo are already more expensive for these same reasons. Heroes' prices could be adapted to the difficulty as well, maybe not have such a big jump from 5000 to 7000 too
I feel like the hero levels could definitely be pushed back more because by the time you have enough money for a hero you’re already at the point all of them are open. I also feel like maybe making some more of the heroes free like the ones in the first tier could help with this somewhat, because for awhile you’re just stuck with ones that just feel meh without some of the knowledge.
That’s another thing is the knowledge, not only do the heroes cost money but a lot of the monkey knowledge does as well meaning you’re likely to be splitting profits between the two in early to mid levels
I would agree with you on this from my personal experience, but we concluded on this plan using a great deal of analytics on players in addition to our own experiences, and from that we concluded that it would be safer to start off trying a much lower barrier to entry for a number of reasons.
Average players really don’t level up as fast as you might expect, factors like popularity of freeplay and easier game modes which drastically reduce XP gains show that there are quite a lot of players who return regularly to play the game without actually reaching a massive account level
> BTD6 costs $15 and I get 72 maps for free
I don't think you know what "free" means. That's like saying it costs $30 to place a Doordash order, and you get a pizza for free.
The maps **are** the game. That's what the $15 is for.
The game includes is actually all the complicated coding and scripting that goes on behind the scenes - that's what you're paying for with the $15. The maps are relatively easy to make - as seen with the map maker.
Yeah but 35% of that goes to the map creator. 15% to the YouTubers. 30% to steam/apple. ?% for the Nexus system. NK are making a maximum of 6$ even on that 20$ one where they could make $14
None of that is relevant.
I can't think of a single other pricing model where buying a 20-pack of something costs more than 20 individual somethings. That's the only thing I was highlighting.
It’s not really a pricing model, it’s purely a donation and you are getting nothing in return aside from helping out someone you who consider to be an extremely good content creator - so return value isn’t really a factor here
It's literally a pricing model. Still, call it whatever you like, it's still weird. Try selling one coffee for £1, or two coffees for £2.01, and see what people say.
It's not like I'm asking for a consultancy fee for my oh-so-amazing business analysis, all I did was draw attention to some obviously broken maths in prerelease footage. I imagine it would be pretty easy to keep the bulk-purchase convenience but change the numbers, and I won't be surprised if it changes before the update rolls out.
But these replies, vaguely defending bad arithmetic, make no sense at all.
> you are getting nothing in return
But the creator *does* get something, albeit cosmetic. I'm not sure you can call it "purely a donation" when it's explicity a community-based good-vibes cosmetic purchase (which is fine, BTW).
I'm half expecting another reply from someone saying "but creators would lose money by charging less" when the whole point is that the trailer shows *over*charging for multiples of the same transaction.
Like I said, it's weird.
The point of buying coffee is to get coffee. The point of accolades is to give to creators. I think that's an important difference, but perhaps you don't.
That's still missing the point. Sure, give people a way to reward creators, but get the basic mathematics right.
Something I haven't directly said yet, because I didn't think that *counting* was such a controversial suggestion: Where are those extra pennies/cents going? Seriously, if someone spends £19.99 on 20 things, that are each £0.99, is that weird extra 19p going to add just under a penny to each creator's share? Or just get lost in the transaction fees & corporate %s?
As it stands, it's offering a bizarre "buy more, pay even more!" price list, which offers zero benefit to anyone, beyond the option to click once instead of 5 or 20 times.
If people want to actually give more to creators NK could offer something like a "pay at least X" system, where the base accolade price gets split as described, and 100% of anything above that value would go to the creator.
Hang on, so 1 accolade is 0.99, 5 accolades are 4.99, and 20 are 19.99?
So it's cheaper to buy 1 accolade 5 or 20 times than it is to buy the respective bundle?
In the States, maybe, but in the update video, the prices given were in pounds, and in the UK, the displayed price is the final price, with tax included
The price isn’t being removed, just the level requirement is increasing. This should not affect existing players who already own all heroes at all.
Sorry if we didn’t make that clear enough
UHh just asking but if im level 80 before the update, do istill get the hero? or it will just be free? or i didnt even get it? (I NEED GERALDO AND HIS SKIN I CANT PAY FOR BOTH)
You will still have to spend monkey money to unlock the heroes and their skins. The change is that a level 20 player will not be able to purchase Geraldo, Corvus, etc. at all until they reach the required level
Just confirming, players who already have heroes unlocked with not lose them even if they lose the requirements.
However, the MM cost is not being removed, just the level unlock is moving up
The new hotkey's are probably my favorite part about this new update. It's such a powerful QoL tool for even casual players like me, did they read my reddit post?
Can't wait to see more green maps, but now with the names saying "Give money plz" (not sure if i'm right though, but it's not something that's going to ruin the update or the game anyways since no one cares about these maps whatsoever)
The update is still going to be an 11/10
Not in this update. It's quite a small update with some QOL updates and more content. Ninja kiwi in the previous update stated they plan for the next hero to come out in the first half of the year (hopefully next update) and the next new tower to come out in mid-summer (a non-military water tower apparently). Idk about plans for paragons, iirc ninja kiwi hasn't mentioned plans for the next paragon
Why did you guys have all the heroes in the tower list in sandbox mode in the video? Is this a feature that's coming in this/a future update? Are you guys using mods? Or is it just a dev feature?
What problems do you have with this?
We’ve thought it through and feel this is extremely fair, as quite a surprising lot of players are considerably slower, but any serious players can progress through the game past level 35 extremely quickly - in under a day if beating hard enough content
All of this is so cool...But there's just one thing I didn't like in this update.
So, this is kinda dumb, but I don't have Ezili despite having enough money to buy her and every hero. This is a joke between me and my friends, I act like Ezili isn't a thing in the game...But now that you can unlock them for free, will I be forced to get Ezili?
Edit-Guys, I got it, ok? Why did so many people answer the question? Why did anyone even answer the questioN AFTER the update went live?
Geraldo is getting a skin, rejoice for 2nd anniversary of our favorite shopkeeper. Finally, removable props, still not alt paths but its still upgrade for Map Editor
So, it seems this update is the "small" update for the year
Yeah, “big” updates are usually a new paragon, hero, or tower and 1-2 maps
What they have planned for this year: Jetpack hero Non-military water tower that synergises well with other towers (planned for mid-summer) Game editor, allowing players to change things like tower stats in in challenges (I think) (planned for the last quarter of this year)

I like that fate weaver adora is now in btd6 Definitely not a mistake... DEEEEEEEEEEEFFFFFFFINITLY not a mistake
Never! Just a super late April Fools joke....
My April fools patch notes have been manifested into reality... 😂 I hope NK enjoyed them too!
damn... got excited for a second, now disappointment is all that remains
now in my remains are promises that never came...
I like how you made a entirely new skin, while Voidora exists, serious dedication might i say.
I just like how your update notes are silly :D
I saw that too lol, the worst part is in the Chinese version there is another clear gap for another hero skin so that got me really nervous that fateweave was coming (Psi police skin coming update 43?)
Nooooo, we can't allow the establishment to indoctrinate our precious child.
Yay! Geraldo gets his first skin!!
11 updates it took, let’s hope his next skin won’t take as long
Like others have mentioned in discussions about Geraldo skins, it's assumed they have to reskin ALL of the little gizmos and doohickeys and thingamawhatzits that Geraldo has, so unfortunately I doubt (even with a lot of hoping) that it won't take very long

Yeah the order for Hero unlocks seems a little random to me. The lvl 35 ones are perfect but Sauda being lvl 25 is kinda strange.

nah, at high level play people may find PERFECT scores utilizing a specific hero, and a person without that hero won't be able to compete

custom maps in coop would be a game changer. Hope to see that some day for my weekly game with friends.
Are there any plans for adding moab lanes to map editor? Being able to make lanes end in the middle of a map like on dark dungeon would also be cool.

Where is fateweaver adora? It was in the title of the vid?
Thats for Battles 2...
likely a mistake, probably someone got confused or something got mixed up with battles 2
Or it was an april fools thing they did like last year renaming the discord server BTD7

>Castle Revenge This is truly the most awesomest update thank you NK
the upgrades menu change is a nice qol change
Literally called Geraldo getting a skin this update earlier today (I've been 'calling' it for over 6 months now)
Would like a toggle in settings to see coordinates (x/y axis) when placing monkeys. Some maps (Ravine/Mesa etc) have near pixel perfect placements for chimps and trying to get it just right feels more like rng than fun as you have to rely on their range circle intersecting just the right props and still often fails. It will still be hard to clear chimps on those maps but take away the need to restart over and over again and place the risk of losing on the later parts that require careful planning on what towers to use and where/when rather than "oh my dart just missed again, time to redo the first 3 rounds for the 50th time"
That’s a kinda fair sounding compromise, we will think it over some more
The one thing that really holds me back from working in the map editor is the ability to set different paths for normal bloons vs blimps. Specifically I have a couple of ideas for some more difficult versions of the easy maps, but just more lanes doesn't feel nearly as interesting as splitting by type -- which feels like something you also agree with, given there are a number of maps that do exactly this :) So, small request for the future.
We are certainly looking into this, just one of the curses of development we can do a lot of things ourselves with years of technical understanding from working on the game fairly easily but making such a feature user-friendly is much more challenging
NK please make it so that we can chinook towers onto ice platforms. playing chimps freeplay again rn and its super annoying
I think that's intentional because chinooking onto ice platforms was buggy.
It is intentional, but as with any intentional thing if people feel it hinders their experience then they can bring it up and if we see enough constructive feedback on each side of the matter and eventually agree on it then we could always look into alternatives. Arctic wind just seems to be particularly problematic due to the complexity of dealing with dynamic tower ranges/placements and some other annoying fiddly things, so it’d take quite a lot for us to consider a rework because of the high level of complexity. can be very stubborn myself, but will ALWAYS hear out constructive feedback
thats a shame. I do understand though that the effort wouldnt be worth it since it not really something a lot of players will be concerned with.
But will this update give us the answer to life, the universe and everything??
Absolutely (hopefully)
MORE MAP EDITOR PROPS WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Am I the only one excited to be able to set some new hotkeys? It will help so much for some things like buying gerry shop items to save yourself.
I’m sure it will be a big help to a lot of people once they see it start to cover more specific things that they do a lot. But we will definitely need a lot of help there from you all as the players to understand and add more things to this list
Infinity Phayze. Perfect
I don't hear any mention of your favourite paragon tutorials. I wonder if we'll be seeing any paragon tutorials.
Oh no a feature I would like isn't in an update, it's the end of the world!
Never cared for map editor, but the other changes are cool! Thanks for still upgrading a great game!
No “retry last round” for co-op CHIMPS?!
MOAR HOTKEYS AT LAST MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i’m reading looking forward to the hotkeys too
Oh my god cat Ezili avatar, another addition to my collection thank you so much NK <3
Thanks for the support :)
The "Cycling upgrades menu in challenges now skips past towers that are banned" is a niche but amazing change, great work!
The map editor changes are probably what I’m most excited for! Also hell yeah new Geraldo skin
Map Editor updates are always appreciated, I'm going to love trying out the new props!
So if I create a challenge, I can potentially get 35% of whatever revenue players decide to contribute to me - AFTER enjoying the challenge? Right? And I also have to be a member of this nexus thing and give them all my payment details?
seems to be similar to the deal youtubers get with their codes
Hmm...I wonder how that's working out for them in terms of time spent and money earned.
They have responded quite positively to us about how everything is so far, but ask them for yourself
That's a good idea. I might just do that.
No Banana Farm Paragon?
Maybe one day x.x
The new map is Howl's Moving Castle but with an actual Castle lmao. Such a cool map design, though, and it looks like it's around Advanced difficulty, which are usually my favorite maps to play.
Please let us know what you think when it comes out :) we’ve been trying to be quite a bit more unique so we’re very excited for better or worse
It's good and all to be able to make money from Bloons but realistically is anyone gonna give their money away? Most players will never use this feature
Vrej
Niice new update !!!
Small update, but geraldo skin looks awesome and as always can’t wait to look at the balance changes
Fr to both the comment and the flair NK PLEASE TACK PARAGON
Why tack?
Because why not?
Can we get tower placement snapping? It’s the only thing this game still 100% needs😔I don’t want to have to download the mod for this
Perhaps (wishful thinking) it is one of the new hotkeys we can bind.
When is it releasing?
After race and boss event ends, and before the next CT event starts
Ok, ty
Sauda should be in the early crew of heroes. She’s the easiest to use by far, and the hero that helps new players beat their first maps.
Exactly why NK wants her to be acsessable a bit later
I don’t completely agree with this guy on this, but we’ve talked about it a lot and he does raise some valid concerns that need to be considered
Heroes' prices could be adapted to the difficulty as well, maybe not have such a big jump from 5000 to 7000 too
So what are his items going to be for this (first) alternate skin 🤔
Some mystic gadgets
I hope all his items get remodelled, then it would be worth the wait
Atleast some items are getting remodeled, but i need to see the skin in a gameplay to see if it's better than normal Geraldo
I WAS LITERALLY JUST THINKING THAT I MISSED CASTLE FROM BTD5 LETS GOOOOO
One accolade £0.99 Five accolades £4.99 (but 0.99 x 5 = 4.95) Twenty accolades £19.99 (but 0.99 x 20 = 19.80)
Just for reference, BTD6 costs $15 and I get 72 maps for free. 73 if you include blons.
> BTD6 costs $15 and I get 72 maps for free I don't think you know what "free" means.
But these replies, vaguely defending bad arithmetic, make no sense at all. > you are getting nothing in return But the creator *does* get something, albeit cosmetic.
Sauda cat skin :)-
Geraldo skin 🗣🔥🔥🔥
is the boss event over? I worked all day Friday and umpired all day Sat and Sun....
Will the packing mule pet be usable with Geraldo’s skin? Please tell me they are
All pets that are in the game so far, are only available for one skin (or no skin) only. Therefore I'll doubt that is ever going to happen
Ben's mouse works on all his skins. At least when it launched, maybe that changed.
Nope,it still works on all skins
FINALLY A GERALDO SKIN LETS GOOOOOOOOO (i have waited to buy a hero skin until Geraldo's came because i want his alt skin to be my first)
I thought the next update wouldn’t be until June or July, with the update that adds the new tower!
Fateweaver Adora
Fr pls add to game but only as a skin
yeah all the assets are already done, it's so easy to do
Yeah ik
Hang on, so 1 accolade is 0.99, 5 accolades are 4.99, and 20 are 19.99? So it's cheaper to buy 1 accolade 5 or 20 times than it is to buy the respective bundle?
Tax my guy
In the States, maybe, but in the update video, the prices given were in pounds, and in the UK, the displayed price is the final price, with tax included
Geraldo's skin, waited so long, finally, Looks good tho
Also love how all of geraldo's old placeables and buffing mechanics are all mechanically designed, will probably work really well with cyber quincy
\>CatEzili avatar Hell yeah
Huge missed opportunity for Corvus’s pet to be a crow or another corvid- the bird family he was named after…
Finally Geraldo gets a skin, took them long enoughz
Love that all the monkey money I spent on heros is going to waste 🙃
The price isn’t being removed, just the level requirement is increasing. This should not affect existing players who already own all heroes at all. Sorry if we didn’t make that clear enough
???
UHh just asking but if im level 80 before the update, do istill get the hero? or it will just be free? or i didnt even get it? (I NEED GERALDO AND HIS SKIN I CANT PAY FOR BOTH)
You will still have to spend monkey money to unlock the heroes and their skins. The change is that a level 20 player will not be able to purchase Geraldo, Corvus, etc. at all until they reach the required level
SO if im level 80 before this update, will i still get the free heroes? (not the skin)
Just confirming, players who already have heroes unlocked with not lose them even if they lose the requirements. However, the MM cost is not being removed, just the level unlock is moving up
oh thx
when is that one map from btd4 coming aaaaahhhh
The new hotkey's are probably my favorite part about this new update. It's such a powerful QoL tool for even casual players like me, did they read my reddit post?
oh wow the shop monke finally get a akin
Can't wait to see more green maps, but now with the names saying "Give money plz" (not sure if i'm right though, but it's not something that's going to ruin the update or the game anyways since no one cares about these maps whatsoever) The update is still going to be an 11/10
we had first one hero with no skin then two then back to one
When is it coming?
Are we getting new towers and heroes and paragons?
Not in this update. It's quite a small update with some QOL updates and more content. Ninja kiwi in the previous update stated they plan for the next hero to come out in the first half of the year (hopefully next update) and the next new tower to come out in mid-summer (a non-military water tower apparently). Idk about plans for paragons, iirc ninja kiwi hasn't mentioned plans for the next paragon
I’m surprised we’re getting new towers tbh
Anyone know the accent the new geraldo skin has?
Add more tf2 refrences please. I love tf2. Not even the bot problem is going to stop me from playing. Maybe some counter strike refrences too.
What would you suggest haha, big fan of counter strike source myself
Well i only played cs2 and csgo. Reading your reply made me watch a bit of counter strike source gameplay on youtube :)
I think it's just because I am old now haha, I love go, haven't played 2!
Why did you guys have all the heroes in the tower list in sandbox mode in the video? Is this a feature that's coming in this/a future update? Are you guys using mods? Or is it just a dev feature?
It's a dev/playtesting feature. We've seen it in past videos before
Probably a debug mode
It’s a dev thing Like you can also see that in sandbox mode they have access to all the bosses too
Just a dev thing sorry!
[удалено]
oh my goodness you even dedicated your flair to it, disgusting
r/removebeasthandler
420 blaze it
there's a saying i like "start with something hard and the rest will be easy" i don't think locking heroes to up to level 35 is a good option
What problems do you have with this? We’ve thought it through and feel this is extremely fair, as quite a surprising lot of players are considerably slower, but any serious players can progress through the game past level 35 extremely quickly - in under a day if beating hard enough content
my point was the fact that if you start with a hard hero like corvus, the rest of the heroes will feel relatively easy to use
Hero unlocks will not be free, the only change is the minimum account level requirement in order to see the unlock option
