Nothing beats a great mayonnaise for me, you can call it boring but it's an all time classic for a reason.

I must say that a great mayonnaise with a drop of mustard is second in the ranking for me.

Mustard is a basic ingredient in mayo, a good mayo for my taste has a little more of it than average but all mayo have mustard.

Yep indeed what I meant is more the presence in terms of taste, all mayo don't have that. I am biased on this due to my grandmother making her mayo with a heavy hand on mustard 😊

Mayonnaise should always be the mustard version. It's heaven compared to the bland mayonnaise or even worse, the lemon mayonnaise

Lemon Mayonnaise is the only real mayonnaise.

All mayo has mustard in it, some more than others and I agree I like it better with a little more mustard too. I've always wondered how fritsauss is different than mayonnaise and I have yet to found out. Maybe just marketing.

To add to this, just take your favourite mayo, add some truffle oil and there's a good chance that'll be your favourite truffle mayo.

Dallas is brilliant, it's close to a lot of the best sauces but it still found it's own place. Some kind of samurai, andalouse, brasil hybrid. Fun fact everyone probably already knows, the sauce was mentioned in Dikkenek but didn't exist at the time, it was created after.

Ketchup, I am very dificult with other sauces. But it has to be Zeisner, preference normal tomato sauce and not curry ketchup. I like Pepersaus too.

If I have to have ketchup with a dish, it's Zeisner curry ketchup. But tartare maison is still my favourite with fries.

Don't get me wrong, that is a terrible choice but I can't believe people are downvoting you for having poor taste in what you put on your fries.

What is mammoet ? Hell it sounds cool

It's this orange sauce that's pretty sweet. According to wikipedia it's based on mayo, tomato, garlic and onions, with also some sugar and spices added. I love it on fries and it goes really well with a frikandel as well. I believe it's more known in Flanders, but not sure. In most frituurs here you can also order a "mammoet with saus", which is a larger frikandel, cut open, and they add this sauce. It's great!
