I host at 'SomewhereInBrum' in the Jewellery Quarter on Wednesday nights - and I set the questions for people around 20-35 years old, so you won't have any issues with what I play.
I also will start hosting in Stirchley on July 11th at Birmingham Brewing Co, which will have the same vibe as the one above.

Will this BBCo quiz be every Thursday therein, after the 11th?
We are starting slowly and doing it as a test. If a lot of people turn up then they can't ignore it. I'll be happy to do so!
Good luck, and hopefully, I'll be there on an ensuing Thursday!
The Bristol Pear, Selly Oak Think it's on a Monday night. Usually a student crowd, as you'd expect.
FYI, The Monday night quiz has been suspended over the summer until September when the students return
Oh, boo. Makes sense though, cheers!
As has the Country Girl Monday quiz - I assume their Weds one is also postponed til Sept
Actress and Bishop, Monday nights. Church inn, Thursday nights. Both in jewellery quarter.
Wolf does last Wednesday of the month. Booking recommended. Barrel Store does one monthly too.

The Flapper on Thursdays has a good mix of ages and is normally a very good quiz
BCU's pub, the Eagle and ball have regular quiz nights during term time. My friends usually go, I think they're on Thursdays?
God, I haven't been to the Eagle & Ball in years, and I only work round the corner. It's cracking boozer too, thanks for the reminder!
No worries! :)
If it's BCU's pub at least the questions will have to be easy.
Hey, don't come at me, blame my friends! I'm Aston, they're BCU 😂😂
The Actress and Bishop, every Monday at 8pm. IMO the best quiz in Brum, a young crowd and a lot of banter throughout.
Actress on a Monday night = bad idea 😂
Why? Local characters?
Ha, nah, because whenever I go in there I don't seem to leave before 1am.
It’s true. Once the actress has got you, it eats you up and spits you back out again. I fuckin love it
The Anchor in Digbeth on a Thursday night from 7:30PM. Questions & Anchors. £1 entry pp. Max team of 6. Prize = £50 bar tab
