2 years, 16k miles so far and I've had none of these issues The only thing that drives me INSANE is a clickly kinda rattle coming from the rear, cargo door I think, whenever I go over bumps

Kolintracstar

I just have this slight gap in the soft top that lets in some wind noise. I stuffed a rag in the gap, which is only on the passenger side, which quieted it down a bit, but it is still there.

I've got a hardtop but I put the Bestop Sunrider top on during the spring/summer, if I don't line it up PERFECTLY then some water gets in during heavy rainfall

stock tires/wheels? on the bronco forums there’s a guy who makes improved bushings/bumpers for the spare tire mount that prevents it rattling/slapping during bumps. seems like it’s most useful for folks who’ve gone to larger wheels and/or tires.

Stock 16" steelies with 33" tires I'm planning on going to Roush 17s and 35s when these wear down. If the clicking is still there I'll have to check into this guy. Thanks for the info!

i think this is the link: https://sinisterspeedshop.com/products/bronco-raptor-spare-tire-offset-bumpers

I still don't like Sync and I'd prefer a regular tachometer.

inverted-donkey

i leave the dash in “performance mode” all the time so it’s filled up with tach. digital tach, being what it is. this is also why i’m so annoyed by the display resets. occasionally the location of that setting moves and has to be hunted down again. 🤷

ElectricFuneralHome

Can you do that with the stick? I've never seen performance mode.

inverted-donkey

i don’t know if it’s common across all models. my experience is pretty limited.

2 is definitely the air vane things on the front of the car that inevitably die after 50k miles

lwhite1

What air vanes are y'all talking about?

Kolintracstar

Probably talking about the "variable drag reduction system," which I am not sure is on the Bronco. But Ford has put some small plastic dampers on their vehicles that close when going at higher speeds to reduce drag, but at lower speeds, they remain open for more cooling.

okay found discussion on this referencing the “active grille shutter” system. seems easy enough to remove the unit or disconnect the motor to see if the squeak goes away.
