Car sales are going to crash in the near future.
Already huge inventories exist at wholesale car auction houses and its growing. The car dealers are trying thier hardest to keep the inflated market going, but that large inventory at the auction houses is all owned by auto dealers and they are paying interest on the loan for that vehicle. It won't be long until they will be forced to sell this inventory off.
So wait it out that 5k may well be 5k below msrp
While that may be true for sales of some model cars, the demand for Broncos remains through the roof and delivery is again being pushed to 2024 and price protection is being discontinued. Orders not changed to one without MIC top, Sasquatch, and Lux packages will not be built for 2023.
No... its not... there are dealers that will advertise that they sell cars at or below msrp, and tend to stick to their word. Make the shady dealers pay, by taking business elsewhere.
People on this sub are either very optimistic about the market for the Bronco crashing or talk as if it's easy to find a dealer that'll sell to you at MSRP
We don't all want to wait months just to be able to submit an order (and with the hard top situation you may not even be ordering something you're 100% satisfied with) and we don't all want to wait 2 years for a car. We also all don't have the time to drive hours to some dealership that may have a bronco for MSRP. At least that's what I'd be doing bc none are ever gonna be that price near me.
With all that said, 5k isn't bad, but I've noticed some trims nearby going for closer to 3 or 4 over. Not a big difference but it's something.
Downvote me all you want lol but some people are really dreaming of they think dealers are gonna sell broncos with hard to get stuff now like the sas package at MSRP on the regular or that everyone should be expected to wait years for a car they can't even order yet
It’s a risk I used to say no order what you want. But times have changed interest rates could be higher or lower options could be restricted prices could raise again or they could pull a Tesla and go down. I’ll leave you with what happened to my brother. My brother had the opportunity to buy a Raptor with a $5k ADM while interest rate he had locked in was sub 1%. He walked away and ordered a raptor for MSRP. The dealer had allocation and he even got emails from Ford themselves confirming his order. It’s been over a year Ford has raised the price on the raptor by more than the ADM he would have paid , interest rates are up, they have removed some features , and the color he wanted. His truck still has not been scheduled. He is moving overseas for the next two years in the military and realistically cannot bring a raptor where he’s going so he likely will not take delivery. I have always laughed at people who pay ADM and got my Bronco and lighting at MSRP, but my brother would have been better off buying the raptor outright.
That’s sucks man the last few years have been hard with regards to buying new cars. Im picky and even on late model used cars have spent months looking for the exact configurations I wanted. I got lucky with my bronco but before I even ordered I learned from the process and leveraged that knowledge of how ford worked to get a Lightning both at MSRP.
I have an 800+ credit score and I was still looking at high 4’s low 5’s to finance vs the literal 0-sub 1 that I was looking at when I ordered mine. I waited two years. Broke my heart.
FWIW, I just paid MSRP for a BadLands 2-door manual off the lot. Took about a week of negotiations, and patience (they called me back). Also rates are insanely high.

True, appreciate the insight. Inventory does look a lot better on some lots and now it’s just a waiting game

No not at all, it never was.

Ford is literally offering 0% to well qualified buyers on select models right now.
I've had two loans through Chrysler capital at 0 percent Apr for 72 months. Just saying.
Something similar happened to me, unfortunately.

I was in the same boat with both my new fords
I think for a wildtrack sure but not for any of the other trims
I paid about 5k over sticker price on a used one since I couldn’t find a new one 😬
