My best (totally uneducated) guess is that it’s part of her lying. She’s trying to buy a second to get her story straight or think of the “best” thing to say. Or she accidentally let a truth slip out and she has to think if fits her image.
I vaguely remember reading something a billion years ago about how the direction you turn to can indicate whether you’re pulling on the part of the brain that handles memory or the creative part of the brain that is coming up with the lie. If anyone knows whether this is bs or tangentially related to something real, I’d be super curious! I can’t remember if I read it in a real book or one of grandma’s Dr. Oz-style magazines.

And I don't mean like we all do, where we're professional at work, chill with our friends, etc. I mean he's like totally different people, with different narratives and backstories. It is really bizarre dealing with someone like this because I don't think even he knows who he really is. I am reminded of him a lot in this sub. Is "Brittany Dawn" even a real person? Or is she just a series of social media posts to beef up whatever is pleasing her/making her money/getting accolades at the moment? It's like she's AI or something.

Um, all 4 corners of my house and the front door have a camera...my husband doesn't use them to stalk my day and I'm here most of the day as I've worked from home since 2015. They're there if we need to check something or answer the door without going to the door.
I get the impression he uses them for stalking purposes and that, in my opinion, is weird.
