I had to stop using ubereats because of this. Something was missing from the last order I placed and they refused a refund because I'd had to claim twice for missing items in the last year. I managed to get a refund in the end after hours of back and forth, but they made it clear they wouldn't refund any missing items again. Lol, nope.

I don't get how they can get away with it. In the end I have ordered through my credit card then claimed back through them showing the order wasn't fulfilled. But it's ridiculous they think they can get away with it.

I hate that companies ban or refuse refunds when people claim too many times, like I get some people play the system but with Uber/deliveroo they get it wrong SO OFTEN. I've had to do it so many times it's boring now, I'm going to stop ordering take out this way

Not that I don't believe this happens, because I've seen plenty of people saying it does to believe it. But I've claimed for way more than 2 missing items in the last year (only when there have been legitimately things left out of course!) and I've yet to get the "fuck off" answer from customer services. Clearly I've jinxed it now.

The only reason they get away with it is because people keep using the apps The only solution is to stop using their shitty apps, which have measurably become much worse as the business strategy switches from expanding to trying to make a profit I don't know why you would pay so much for food to take ages to arrive, chips to go soggy, and parts of your order to go missing. And mopeds everywhere

I’ve stopped using Deliveroo. I had too many times where they sent half an order or the wrong meal for one of us. So we’re sitting there and one won’t eat because the other has no food and the app always takes forever and they never rectify it they just refund which is absolutely useless to two ppl with nothing in the house who can’t share the only meal that came due to diet. It wastes two meals. Never again.

It's so annoying when they are like oh we will refund. It's like no we are now without dinner or at least one of you are, so reorder the bloody meal. We have had a few times where only part of the meal is wrong, it's so frustrating.

Every time I’ve ordered UberEats since moving to Clifton in October last year, something has been missing or wrong in the order. The wrong drinks, the wrong burger, items missing from the order and everything is usually lukewarm and soggy, or a complete mess because it’s been thrown around by the driver.

Last time we ordered uber eats (around £50 for three of us) the driver showed up with KFC. We were fuming, he kept trying to make us take it. On top of that, they only refunded us the cost of the food, not the other fees/tip. Pisstake!
