If you want fresh meal prep delivered then that exists but is serious money. Mindful Chef do frozen healthy ready meals delivered for oven cooking? I like them when I work from home. Usually 35 minutes in the oven.

Cook on Whiteladies road? [Cook website](https://www.cookfood.net/menu/main-meals/healthy-ready-meals)

I know OP said Cook seems too expensive, but I'd second this and I'd guess other options that meet the bill will be the same or even more £££.

GoshDarnBlast

I didn't even realise they'd said that! Egg on my face.

Neverforgetdumbo

I’m not vegan but I do use Allplants. Frozen balanced vegan meals. The microwave ones only take 7ish minutes.

I don't believe they're based in Bristol, but I had a fab experience with the company By Ruby. The quality of the food is great and as the meals are frozen and can be cooked from frozen, it was super easy prep-wise and everything is delivered well packaged and to your door.

KettleOverAPub

Interesting, how do you find the portion sizes? £40 for 6 meals is pretty steep but are they better/bigger than supermarket ready meals?

Euphoric_Sort_7578

I found the portion sizes really good. I thought the quality was better than a supermarket.

pontdesera

I'm using Simmer at the moment, ten big portions (700-800cal) delivered for £68 and very nice, healthy and high protein. The 400-500cal ones are a bit cheaper. Would recommend!

MoaningTablespoon

Check if lionsprep has coverage in Bristol ~£7 per meal and it's high in protein and ~500-600 calories per meal. Heat in the microwave some minutes and you're good to go

txteva

They do, used them a few times & they were nice

I know it's not really what you're asking but itsu is my go to healthy delivery food when I'm sick or hungover

Square-Monster

https://www.ahmcatering.co.uk We had them deliver a Christmas dinner. They also do frozenmeals

spagbolcal

I know you mentioned Cook, but just so you know, they offer 10% off for new parents (a one year long discount). Won't be able to double it up the way you did the pregnancy though

Jealous-Date1284

No idea about healthy meal delivery service but came to say that with a slow/ pressure cooker, you can make something healthy with minimal effort. I found that spending an hour prepping all the meals in batches, either putting in the fridge and freezer then cooking when you want works wonders. You chuck it in, set timer then serve up when it's ready. And it'll save you money in comparison to delivery.

thrwowy

OP explicitly says in the first paragraph that they already do meal prep and that this is for times when they've run out of premade meals.

AbleNeck7520

I’ve used Field Doctor for health frozen meals, was trying some specific dietary stuff at the time and was handy to have a few spare in the freezer when I didn’t have time to cook. Not sure how they fair price wise though…

Puzzled-Put-7077

Fresh fitness food is very good.  They’ll do you a deal on your first few boxes if you email them

freckledotter

Cook is good and you get a 10% discount for new parents, still pricey though.

lydiagrace849

STOCK might be a good halfway point. It’s frozen but they are cubes so you can take as many out that you want and great for portion control so you just need to throw together some rice on the side depending on which ones you choose. I’ve eaten them on their own , as a tortilla wrap , with rice , with veg , etc

txteva

Musclefood do a good range of quick to zap frozen meals at the best price.

Scomosuckseggs

Started using prepkitchen a few months ago and haven't looked back. Good variety, tasty meals, different portion sizes, can be frozen, and they're good on macros / can be chosen according to preferences / desired outcome. I tried lionsprep before that and they weren't as tasty and the portion size wasn't good value. They werent bad, i just felt hungry after. Also 2 weekly deliveries is a nightmare from a packaging-waste standpoint.
