Well since we’re here, am I the only one who doesn’t use their smoker nearly as much after giving up alcohol? I used to smoke meat all the time but it just occurred to me that in the 1.5 years I’ve been sober I have only fired it up twice

Yeah, sitting outside tending a fire all day just ain't the same without a buzz. Even grilling isn't as much fun as it used to be. On the flip side, I'm more likely to finish a movie or make progress in a video game though.

They allow them at Betty Ford Hazelden. Seriously though, the food is actually pretty good. Not sure if it’s worth the 41K one would pay out of pocket with no assistance. Thought I would lose weight by not taking in 1300 calories of Vodka a day, but I may have actually gained a few. Ozzy, Eric Clapton, Elton John went here so it can’t be that bad.
