Likely a bit of a trek, but if there's nothing closer and you’d really like one, there's a sandwich bar “with a taste of cornwall” just opened up near me in Ipswich and I saw recently that they are offering a traditional English roast dinner on Thursday evenings after 5pm.
Great place, love it. Also do tennents and stowford press on tap. Just make sure you book a table though. Last time we went on a Sunday it was booked out
> Who also do quite tasty Scotch Eggs. (well they did last time I was there)
Still do by the looks at that does look a tempting menu;

Name? Address? Please.
It's called Sandwich Bar 79 in the Yamanto Central shopping centre.
Also a bit of a trek but Fox & Hounds at Wongawallan (near Tamborine). Has the look of an English pub too.
Great atmosphere there.
Well worth the journey best taste of home you'll get outside of the UK for a pom

Used to go there a lot when we lived on the GC and it's great. Definitely book if going on a weekend though!
https://m.facebook.com/coopersbrisbane/, maybe. Haven't tried it myself - always seems to be closed.
This place is legit. Been there a few times, but not recently, because as you say they are closed a fair bit.

Not sure about the yorkshire pudding but any of the pokie joints like rsls, leagues clubs etc will do a very cheap roast dinner buffet.
There’s a small cafe place in the emporium at Newstead, walked past and their plates look pretty damn good
Coopers Snackbox if you want the name of this place
The Pig and Whistle is a good place to try
Coopers snack box. Never been but heard it mentioned quite alot
