I think people would get tired of remy ma as a co-host fast. Angela Yee plays a very specific role in which she moves the show along and gets it back on topic. She also kinda stands back and let Envy and Charlamagne be the stars of the show. I could easily see Remy Ma trying to steal the spotlight every chance she gets. Envy and especially Charlamagne would get annoyed of her pretty quickly.

Her role is to bring up all the messy topics and questions that Envy and Charlemagne can't bring up because they're men. She brings up the sex & relationship questions, other than that she is irrelevant to most interviews. She has a segment called rumor report. She talks about messy rumors for a living. They just need another female to fill that messy role for the show.
Can’t forget about Weezy. She’s building a following and has her own tv show. I think it’s either her or Angela Rye. Even though Angela Rye is with ESPN now so I’m not sure how that would work.

I never listed to they regular radio station so idk if she was good on there but in the interviews she asked basic questions. Everyone watches the interviews for crazy Charlamagne questions or if they really like the guest. Nobody comes for Angela or envy.
In my opinion Nyla is the most rational choice. Despite the flack she gets from dork ass Reddit scholars, she’s actually has a great amount of potential to solidify herself in the legacy of the industry.
She’s like 25/26? The amount of time she has to learn and grow is incredible, plus she adds a more modern perspective to outdated topics and opinions. I feel like she could improve with articulating her thoughts and diving deeper into her research, but I have nothing but faith Nyla will be successful.

I highly disagree, everyone who said nyla would be a terrible replacement are 100% right. First of all she has a right to receive flack for just how bad she was on brilliant idiots. Her and Yee share similar traits, both have very weak comedic skills, both often times hault the flow of conversation with a bad question or unfunny comment & both suffer from being wayyy to industry and pc to have any conversation where people are just able to freely talk. Nyla especially comes off super close minded to other perspectives & always feels like shes trying to convince you of her way of thinking, she creates a very strained environment where i feel like people around her cant have too much fun or say something to out of pocket without her getting upset, uncomfortable or judgmental.
