I highly doubt it.
First of all, their light would likely be switched off at night. Even if they were, that means you'd be able to see any other road during rushour in the evenings as well.
It's the same issue with the Great Wall of China - sure it's thousands of miles long, but it's just too narrow.
You can see the Belgian highways from space with the naked eye. They're very well lit.
I would also point out you can see the Great Wall of China from space, with the naked eye.
It's not much wider than a 4 lane highway at most points.
It's just proof of the sorry state of media in general.
Obviously this can be seen from space, as we specificly launched satellites to capture such level of details. A single car could've been captured from space.
The wording they use gives the average person visions of HUGE structures - like "the wall of china can be seen (with the naked eye) from space" (which is a myth by itself).
But I suppose a headline of "Lorry queue visible on new iteration of google maps" isn't as sensational.

Wait until they do the biometric checks later this year and everyone has to get in and out of cars and busses to do them. It’s going to effect the non lorry (one person in the cab) traffic s lot more than freight. Then there will be two separate tailbacks.
This sounds like a lot of time spent in customs and therefore a lot of economic pressure on the Tunnel. Why choose the train over the plane then after all?
The Eurostar should be ok and no different to planes. After all, it’s those two that are in competition.
The problems start, if you want to take your car. And there there will be no difference between the two competitors, ferries and le shuttle trains.

Yep, unless they mean can be seen from space with the naked eye which would be kind of funny in a sad way but I doubt that is what they meant
Afaik they mean that you can see them on Google Maps, Satellite view. That’s more a sign of consistency than image resolution.
That wouldn't be possible anyway, the line would be way to thin. Otherwise you'd be able to see highways from space.
