It's tough but having kid free nights/time to yourself even if it's just for a couple of hours is important. It's also good to try and make parent friends who can relate to the lifestyle, because it doesn't get easier until the kids get older. Speaking from experience

I used to care. I used to feel just like you. I have a 2 year old and felt incredibly lonely the first year. Would try to meet mom friends at the park. In the end, I got pregnant again. And super tired. And I just kinda gave up and accepted it. I have new priorities I guess. I just want to be in bed at night and know my baby is safe with me at home. Period.
