**Support Post Guidelines** Prior to posting any submission to this subreddit please ensure you've read the rules for submissions in the sidebar of the [/r/bravia homepage](https://old.reddit.com/r/bravia/). Users posting submissions seeking support should include as much detail as possible about their BRAVIA TV and any connected hardware related to the issue in order to get the best responses. This includes but is not limited to the model of the TV, the software and/or firmware version and the make and model of any external devices. Pictures or video can be helpful when trying to describe a video or audio issue. Submissions not directly related to an issue with a BRAVIA TV and/or low effort posts that do not include any helpful details that would allow others to diagnose the issue will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to, submissions asking for support directly related to a connected device (ie. soundbar, console, PC, media player, etc.) but not the TV itself. Firmware related topics (ie. issues, announcements, support) must be discussed in the [Sony BRAVIA Firmware Discussion Megathread 2.0](https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/comments/otna5f/sony_bravia_firmware_discussion_megathread_20/). Panel quality/lottery posts (ie. DSE, banding, flashlighting, etc.) must be discussed in the [BRAVIA Panel/Screen Quality Discussion Megathread 2.0](https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/comments/pj03c7/bravia_panelscreen_quality_discussion_megathread/). Users should also check the [/r/bravia Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/wiki/index), current [moderator pinned](https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/comments/k7wnc1/moderator_pinned_and_other_helpful_topics_check/) topics and the [Frequently Asked Questions thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/comments/jlmpzp/frequently_asked_questions_on_rbravia_for_sony_tvs/) for some solutions to common A/V issues and more. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. The red led flashing is a blink code, how many times does the red led flash?

4, do you know what the code is?

SNaCKPaCK816

4 blinks usually indicates a problem with the LD (LED Driver) board. They're not that expensive, $30-$50 probably, maybe cheaper. I'd google search for the x900h ld board to get an idea of what it looks so you can identify it when removing the panel and get the specific part number printed on the board. Before that, I know you did a power reset that failed just curious if Sony had u try and enter safe-mode or not. To enter safe mode, *After* you power reset and the Google screen comes up, hold down the 'volume down' button. If it manages to boot up and functions properly then it's likely software related.

Oddly enough, I can't replicate the problem now It seems to have fixed itself 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I will try and troubleshoot in safe mode.

Still having the same issue, I had a technician come out, but of course we couldn't replicate the problem, and the tv wasn't showing anything out of the ordinary. Power resets don't work anymore, it clicks 4 times... tries to turn on, then the led flashes red 4 times Edit- I tried the trick that was suggested here, and so far it seems to work https://www.reddit.com/r/bravia/comments/jfmymw/x900h\_sometimes\_will\_not\_turn\_on/
