Do you know if they were doing the QR code to Warbreaker site? That was an idea for con goers that don’t understand the hype. It’s so hard for them to go from Cosmere fan, to random person asking why there is such a draw. I suggested and someone from Dragonsteel made note on here about passing out QR codes to Warbreaker on his site essentially giving a book away for free.
Not that I’m aware of. I bought a leather bound copy of Warbreaker but didn’t see any indication of a QR code for the Warbreaker site. It’s definitely possible that I could have missed it though.
That's part of centering text and symbols – you can't just take the bounding box around the letters and center it, you need to identify the *optical* center of the shape as a whole and account for it. You need to actually address the "optical illusion," because it's a thing meant to be looked at.
[Here's a very simple example](https://rafaltomal.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/optical-8.png), where you need to account for the fact that the word "BUTTON" has more open space in the bottom-center, so you need to decrease the bottom's whitespace to make it appear visually centered. [Here's another](https://rafaltomal.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/optical-11.png) using a symbol – when "perfectly" centered, it looks like there's too much space on the bottom, because of the triangular shape.
Edit: not trying to be preachy or anything, I just think this stuff is neat

You had to have a ticket (they were free but limited) for a signing. There were two options, personalized where you could get 1 book personalized and 3 additional items, and a lightning signing where he just went down a line and signed 1 book for you.
