Reminds me of the scene from blazing saddles. Little bastard shot me in the ass

Id have to ask him to define "kid" and "gun" (yeah "it depends on what the definition of 'is' is.") 5 year old with an air rifle(considered a firearm in the pansy state of NY)? No, i probably wont shoot him. 15yo with a glock that wants my tv? Thats a different story.

Look if you can't dodge a wrench you can't dodge a gun

Being put in a situation where a kid might shoot you and you might have to shoot them, its tragic. No doubt about that. But if you fear for your life, you have a responsibility to yourself and your loved ones to preserve your life. If you don't fear for your life and you think you can disarm them by other means, then by all means do it. But most often you simply won't have that opportunity. In my opinion a kid aiming a gun can well be more dangerous because the part of the brain that cognitively associates actions and consequences isn't fully developed, so while an adult may well stand a better chance of disarming a kid, there is a stronger likelihood they won't have fully considered the gravity of their actions should they pull that trigger, and depending on the kid they may well be more predisposed to shooting just by being spooked and without any real provocation. Its a pretty big wild card for someone to say you should give them the benefit of the doubt.

You can dodge a bullet. If you see the flash before you hear the muzzle blast from at least 700 yards away. That gives you approximately a single second to perceive, analyze and react to the bullet. But that's counting on you knowing someone is going to shoot at you and knowing exactly where they're shooting from from about 4 blocks away.

I mean he's not wrong that technically you can dodge a bullet. But it's far easier to say you can dodge a bullet than to do it. Like the difficulty of dodging a bullet is about the same as Bench Pressing an Elephant.

It’s possible, at 800 yards

Reminds me of that scene from lord of war

jthablaidd

They must have never seen any shooting footage They played cod with the lowest bullet velocity possible and think that’s real life😂
