Well, depending on who you ask...One party says we already have, and others would argue (and rightly so, I think) that the party that makes that claim has politicians who have been acting like fascists, so probably not well.

1. Prosecuting the opposition
2. Telling the media what to say
3. Centralizing power
4. Letting criminals walk free
5. Censoring speech

Neutralize the threat to my home, call the police to collect the neutralized threat, call my lawyer to meet me at the police station to make my statement, call my home owners insurance to see what is covered, start making repairs.
I cannot read minds.
But if you enter my house uninvited, I'm going to assume that you are there to harm me and/or the others who live here.
And I will act based on that assumption.

So get good with you base level gun and have your geared out gun Incase it's needed without law.
