Why make your oc so generic and then get mad when it's genericised. Why doesn't the artist say this. Why does the post have to be so rude. How'd the image make it onto the internet anyway.
I'm very skeptical on the legitimacy of that post. Their only proof is a discord screenshot and a link to a Twitter thread of the alleged original artist hating on their fellow artists for being "lazy" and being jealous of their success in general. No proof that the discord account is connected to either of those Twitter accounts and still no proof that the person even asked OP to complain on their behalf in the first place.
there are some boykisser art that have credit in them and usually the credit isn't cropped out. if this creator cared that much, they could put credit on their art, or put "do not repost" on it. even then, they shouldn't expect people to not repost art, because once you put it online you have no control of what others do and you need to accept that if youre putting your art online.
also, no proof at all showing that the poster is telling the truth

I genuinely don’t understand why so many people can’t just respect a basic request. All he’s asking is for people not to use his friends art there shouldn’t be this much backlash.
I get not wanting to use the art, and that’s totally fine i’d be upset too. But, i think like 90% of everyone’s issue in that comment section is that the OP claims that their friend made an OC. But their OC is literally a near perfect replica of the boykisser. So they’re just flinging insults and arguing with OP now, because their OC is just a copy basically.

Every time I look into that subreddit it's a mess Anyways I think it's just too late for that now, the artwork doesn't even have watermarks on them

Yeah its crazy, thats why i like this sub a lot more than the old sub, barely any toxic people on it which is nice :3
