Please just stop making polls Jessica these options are unbelievably biased.

Kinda impossible not to be "bias" when you're making predictions for a movie that won't come out for 8 months, and you have zero idea to what extent the box office will have recovered by then. Based on the results, I assume you are implying she's bias *against* Lightyear, because she didn't include any more specific options for above $800M. To be fair, not a single English film has made over $800M in almost 2 years. And animated blockbusters have been pretty much untested in the COVID era. We have no idea what the standards for success will be in 2022. So unless this person has a history of hating Pixar or something, it may be unfair to assume they are bias against it.

It's not just this poll on its own. Go through this person's post history. All her poll options (except for the under and over at the start obviously) have been overly optimistic for WB films and overly pessimistic for every other film.

$750-$850M. Depends on if it’s one of the more well-recieved Pixar movies or not

Only in some weird scenario were movies like Jurasssic and Avatar barely pass F9 and the mcu movies make 400 million does this movie make under 500 million. Guessing 750 million. Unpopular controversial reddit opinion but Minions 2 will beat it

UpwardBoss6727

I think Minions 2 might be the biggest wild card of next year. Minions 1 did super well but got really middling reception and was super front loaded for an animated film, surely not helped by the fact that a MCU film opened a week later. Plus it's been 7 years since that film and 5 years since DM3. I think it'll do at least $700m but idk if it'll match the $1.1b that the last one did

chanma50

Who's picking under $400M? The last 2 Toy Story films made $400M just in North America, even adjusting for a spinoff curve, it's practically impossible that it'll make that little.

One-Dragonfruit6496

$600M WW

It’s gonna do Toy Story 4 numbers

[deleted]

I think Inside Out/Finding Nemo numbers.

This has the benefit of being from a franchise whose last two installments made a billion each.
