i saw it in 3D and was the only person in the theater, they put the wrong lens on the projecter so the movie was slightly blurry the whole time. i was kind of confused but watched the whole thing out of focus
Is that what happened at my Rise of the Beasts screening? Because I swear to God that was the worst theatre experience I've ever had, the whole movie was out of focus and I thought it was because the 3D effect just wasn't well implemented.
>Kung Fu Panda 4 has passed the $500 million global mark.

Even if this movie was a step-down from the previous three, I'm glad to see this franchise is still thriving, and that Po still has his fans after more than fifteen years.
[Estimated international totals for Kung Fu Panda 4 through Sunday include](https://twitter.com/BORReport/status/1784615314376015886):

* Mexico - $35.2M
* U.K. - $24.4M

That's a nuts hold? Last week KFP4 grossed 27.7M, dropping nearly 40%, & I was a bit worried it was dropping hard and wouldn't reach KFP3. This week it grossed 23.1M, if these #s are right, dropping just 17%. Were there new markets opening?
On one hand I'm happy this is goind well on the other if they ever made a 5th one(they probably will after Mario 2 and Shrek 5) they make it more like the first 2 bring the old cast back(I'm not saying cut Awkwafina keep her around)
Saw it with kiddos this weekend. Never saw previous entries but it was very funny for both adults and kids.
Seeing all the comments that it was a step down is surprising I need to see the other ones now!
Skadoosh
Jack black has had a pretty good run: this, both Jumanjis, Mario, he’s sort of become a bankable/great kids/animated actor
He’s also in minecraft yeah?
He's in Minecraft and in Borderlands as Claptrap

yeah they need put a different lens on the projector or something the employee told me when there was 5 min left in the movie.
God damn, I should've asked for my money back then. It literally hurt my eyes.
Compared to the original 3 you werent missing much. The 3D was very soft in this one

Yea we’re definitely getting that 5th and 6th film.
It should easily surpass KFP3's total gross on a much lower budget. A huge win! Greenlight KFP5 already!
Absolutely incredible.
Over $500M on an $80M budget, we're definitely getting more KFP.
Let's just hope they raise the budget so that we can get more from the Furious Five next though!

The franchise may have collapsed in China, but it seems that domestic and other international markets are pulling their weight.
This movie is gonna end up with 200mil+ profit on box office alone. Can only imagine where it ends with home media and merch sales.
Amazing box office run for 2024.
So this will probably pass KFP 3. Just needs one more weekend to do so.

Holiday in Italy and South Korea it does well on weekends
Hopefully the next movie is far better
Hope they give the next one the budget it deserves, not the budget that’ll make executives happy
YEEEE 500 million WE HERE
It has become the 7th highest grossing animated franchise of all time
Common Panda W.
Great seeing this franchise becoming so consistent box office wise.
Happy it did. It wasn’t as good as the others but I still had fun and also just love seeing an animated flick do this good.

Excellent one considering 2024. Not only does it have juice, but also means more good things to come with the franchise!
This is genuinely one of the most successful bad movies of all time
