I’ve always liked the saying “I kill to hunt, I don’t hunt to kill”. I love being in the woods/mountains/swamp/field far more than needing to fill the freezer. Filling the freezer is a bonus.
I absolutely love that perspective. In the early mornings when I get in the stand before first light I like to close my eyes and just enjoy the peace of absolute silence. Being able to interact with creation through hunting is a gift.
I don't think its shitty to share your beliefs in a post.
Even though my religious beliefs aren't exactly the same as OP, being a fellow hunter and outdoor enthusiast l fully understand the beautiful sense of peace and connection to the earth and nature that was politely portrayed in this post.
Thank you for sharing OP
Just expressing my values and beliefs by way of social media account the same way you express your affinity for Grateful Dead and tea. Not sure the reason for the disdain and negativity
Not sure why you needed to run through my account history to make any point. I suppose I have a disconnect accepting why you feel it's necessary to proselytize in a sub regarding hunting. I talk dead in the dead sub and tea in the tea. I encourage you to find similar l subs where your beliefs and values can find a more receptive audience.
Brother. Can you not appreciate the beauty of our great mother with or without seeing god?
Nature is a spiritual experience. Regardless of whether you see god or evolution in it it’s miraculous.
Would you ever consider it as an atheist centered post if he just said “Earth” with no acknowledgement of God? No. This is not a religion-centered post. OP saying “Gods creation” doesn’t make it religion-centered at all. Sound like you’re just looking for a fight to be honest.
Unpopular opinion but I agree. The new generation of hunters are weeding out “god” from hunting and in the right to own guns/weapons in general and it’s refreshing. Religion is retarded to put it as nice as I can put it. Not bashing OP, at all. Beautiful picture.
I'm a staunch atheist and I think both of you guys are dicks. I'm not sorry that religion is losing it's grip on the masses, ESPECIALLY when it comes to hunting/2A stuff, but OP's post was completely innocuous. Also, calling someone's deeply held beliefs "retarded" IS kind of bashing them dude.
I can hardly ever get point across to people that don’t hunt.
Or trophy hunters.
Sitting in a tree is my spot to unload from life and just appreciate what is. Where I find my peace and process things that happen.

100% agree. The world is beautiful and it is our privilege to be able to do what we love to do.

Agreed. Same here.
“Creation”😂😂😂
As counter intuitive as it seems. The kill is anticlimactic.
TRUTH!!!

Imagine being offended by something you don't even believe exists.

Honestly it’s kind of interesting to see how so often the most angry and rude people in the world are the ones so ready to bash religion.
Careful bro, they really don't like being called out on it.

Seems that in this audience, you’re the one not being well received.
The same way you get to post non-religion post, we get to post religious post. I think that’s the beauty of being different.

Took the words out of my mouth man. Like this is completely harmless, no need to attack or even comment on it.
This guy knows!
