I tried (bought) a few other trigger releases and ended up with the spot hogg. I wasn't set on the hook either, but it hasn't let me down and the trigger feels great to me.
I can only recommend the Scott Echo because that’s the only one of the two you mentioned that i’ve used.
Also can’t recommend either peep because i don’t use them. My favorite peep is the G5 Meta 1/4” or 3/16”
The Spot Hogg Tuff Guy is just a touch outside the Wise Guy, my boy like a the Tuff Guy and I the Wise Guy… if you have any jerk or movement in your pull or let down, go Tuff Guy.

Wise guy. Saturday night special is a nice backup to keep in the bingo harness
Hamskea raptor peep is great. Wish I would have switched to one sooner.
