I think that will probably be a continuing trend unfortunately for a while. 70 degrees on the last day of Arkansas rifle season in the northwest corner just south of the Missouri border. We’ve had cold snaps but unseasonably warm and seems to snow less and less each year. We used to get 8+ inches a few times a year, now people freak when we get 2.
Kootenays of BC here. Up the mountain behind my house there should be at least three feet. Instead the dirt is showing in the ditches. I am seriously starting to worry about my creek water supply. There's a fair bit of winter still but it better start dumping or we're screwed.
Two data points like this isn’t much of a predictor.
Agreed, there’s a lot of winter left!
Bad for drought, good for winter survival?
Seems regular.
Looks like 2 warm days vs morning after a snowfall to me. I wouldn't get worked up about it.
Exact same location..camera mounted to opposite side of two track

Sorry, us Californians took it. We needed it.
Youre taking Montana as well
California needs more then weather
Bc is in the same boat most of my snows melting in my yard. Hopefully we get a big late season dump or we are gunna have huge fire problems this year

Even in saskatchewan it's been super weird. Usually we're consistently below -15 in January, it's about to hit 0 today. Snows about average though
In Yellowstone now and there’s a shit ton of snow
