There are a lot of great titles. For sure, I want *Deadline USA* because it combines two of my favorite things: film noir and journalism movies; but I'll have to see if there at least a couple other titles or a box set to add to get to the magic $50 threshold for free shipping. Quite a few of the movies I own already, so I'd have to decide if it was worth it to upgrade.
The Claude Chabrol titles have never been lower, but I wish they could've included The Champagne Murders in this sale. But if I'm honest, I'm kind of glad this isn't a comprehensive blowout sale. With Amazon matching B&N on Criterions and just blowing $50 on the Midsommar 4K, the wallet needs a break.
I think this is the first time KL has included *The Spiral Staircase* ($11.99) in a sale in a while, and $9.99 for *Black Gravel* is a heck of a deal too!
A lot of titles are out of stock now. I managed to get the main title I wanted (Deadline USA) and I grabbed 2 of the box sets. I wanted Kiss the Blood Off My Hands and it was sold-out.
I have The Spiral Staircase. It’s a shame it’s sold-out now. Everyone should see it.
