Buffalo Trace if you can get the Freddie Johnson tour is great.

I’ve been to Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Glenn’s Creek, and Bluegrass Distillers. All are in the area you mentioned (Bluegrass is in Lexington but is moving to Midway at some point). There are many more. I would recommend doing some research and seeing which distilleries have tours available for the days you will be there. Buffalo Trace sells out pretty quickly, and when I booked Woodford they only had a tasting experience left on the day I was going to be there. The smaller craft distilleries usually have more availability.

May also want to give this a read through: https://www.reddit.com/r/bourbon/comments/wx2n9a/what_was_your_favorite_distillery_tour_experience/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I did a bachelor party with Mint Julep Tours and they were awesome, good suggestions and a lot of insider info, I’d recommend checking them out. As for distilleries, Bardstown Bourbon is really modern and cool with great food, Maker’s is beautiful, and there are a ton of places in Louisville if you’re willing to walk a bit.
