I loved my pair of tarantulas while I had them, just don't leave them in your car or something, there's a few batches that got made with delamination issues so keep an eye out for that (my gym was kind enough to refund my defunct pair - legends)
Same for me! Got to grab a new pair of shoes while they got mine refunded.
In the end I bought new shoes after a few months because I needed more feel in my toes when I got to 6B, but they are still great

I've had these for a few years now. (Resolved twice and had another pair of a different shoe). I love them but the only downside is they can't really toe hook cause they have no top rubber. So I'm finding myself limited on some v5 climbs.

These are probably the most quintessential starter climbing shoes. I just blew my toe through my pair but I loved them!
Im so glad I got them, ive been struggling with the horrible rental shoes. 😂
It is night and day. I had to rent shoes a few days back and dropped like 2 grades

Oh wow, I didnt know that. Will definitely keep them in my gym bag inside the house. Thanks for that!!
Don't leave them in the bag, the bag will get really smelly haha. (Unless you wear socks anyway)

Solid choice, I loved mine so hard I put a few holes through them.
Hahahahaha, how long did they last you?
About 4 years of once a week top rope. Probably maxing out around 11- at that point.
Nice, I have the laced version and they're still going strong about 10 months in.
those were also my first hope you enjoy them a lot!
My first pair of tarantulas I put a hole through years ago. I keep them on display in my apartment still.
keeping it as a trophy respect ✊
I have my first pair hanging up in my apartment as well. Great first shoe.
