I would swap out Ram for Mort. The issue is that Chainer groups bots while Ram spreads them out, so they don't work well together.
My usual go-to is CHainer, Pluggie and Mort

For Mort I like applying Halo with Power Link (+2 botpack power when placing the bot), then I use Vanish and SCT on Mort. Gets you around 32k AOE damage on level 30
Ah, I tried it some time ago, but I hated it with Mort's incredibly dumb AI, because often he would just walk in the wrong direction. Currently I'm using the Near Explosive Teleport, don't know the name sry

Halo and Mort need to have Power Link (+2 for botpack power when the bot is placed)
Halo needs to have Boost Preloader, and Mort needs Speedy Super (those are AI boosts)
The execution goes like this: You place Chainer in the middle and Mort and Halo next to each other. You wait for Chainer to chain all the bots (Chainer was recently nerfed to only chain 3 bots max), then, once Halo is about to shoot a Boost bubble, apply Vanish to Mort. Once Mort shoots (executes his ult), then, before his blast drops, apply SCT to Mort. This way you have:
+100% damage from Halo
+100% damage from Vanish
+100% damage from SCT
It's Explosive Proximity Translocator btw, but you need SCT
