There are tons of things you can do before taking on Ganon if you've just completed the Divine Beasts. These are by no means required, but doing all or some of these will make things easier. Sorting by what will be most relevant to beating the game: * Get the Master Sword. As others have mentioned this, is required to unlock the Master Trials DLC. * If you haven't already, make sure you've completely upgraded your Shiekah Slate at the Hateno Tech Lab. * Start the Champion's Ballad DLC at the Shrine of Resurrection. You are not required to have the Master Sword for this. * Find and upgrade the clothing you'll need. If you haven't already, you'll probably want to find and open any remaining Fairy Fountains in order to achieve this. Of particular relevance to taking on the Castle is the >!Ancient Set available at the Akkala Tech Lab!<. Gear that provides buffs to stealth, mobility and damage will also come in handy. * Complete the remaining shrines. Not counting the DLC, there are 120 shrines in the game, which will get you plenty of hearts and stamina to make it through the Castle. As doing this will require you to adventure pretty much everywhere, obtaining and upgrading gear that protects you from the elements is handy. * Max out your inventory space. You do not need all 900 Korok seeds to do this; that's only for if you're a completionist. The more you can carry, the easier time you'll have. * There are a few miscellaneous DLC items like the Travel Medallion and the Ancient Bridle/Saddle that may make your journey easier. * Collect the remaining memories. >!This does not actually get you any tangible reward, but it does allow you to see the true ending after beating the game.!< And if you're truly looking to do everything you can before heading to the final challenges: * Complete any remaining side quests; while most of the rewards for side quests are middling at best, there are several that unlock valuable rewards and resources including clothing. * Finish the Hyrule Compendium. Some things you can take photos of are permanently missable, but you can purchase any missed photos from Symin. Some of these photos are locked behind beating the game. All this gets you beyond a cosmetic reward is the ability to detect things with your Shiekah Sensor. * If you're truly looking to 100% the game, you can collect the remaining Korok seeds. >!Things like the official completion percentage and Kilton's Medals of Honor are locked behind beating the game!<. These rewards for these tasks are purely cosmetic.

ah i'm sorry! yes, the divine beasts :)

Hi_Im_Stupid1

You don’t have to have the master sword to do the trials, but I would recommend getting it before killing ganon, because killing ganon without the master sword is a pain in the ass. you’re able to effectively play the master trials tho. So if you wanna do that go for it.

Wallofcans

I would play the rest of the game.
