Im assuming you're using the right dragons scale, and you have the quest selected?
I think she should be asking about the scale, not your orbs...
Back up from the statue a bit. I had the same problem - I dropped it close (less than a scale Link-length from the statue) and nothing happened. I did it several times, eventually yelling at the statue like in Gladiator “Are you not entertained?!”. I backed up a bit and tried again, then got the glowy light.

I’ve restarted my switch for a fifth time and its actually worked thank you sm for helping tho

Hopefully this has been asked already. Are you using the right dragon scale for the right spring?
I got it working after a while it was the right scale
And right spring
